Abstract Abstract : Research purposes : Aimming at the dificult problem that the span crossing, model switching and construction joint setting of MSS ( movable scaffolding system), based on a bridge, the under - deck MSS ( movable scaffolding system) is developed to construct the bridge. The construction joints are setted by finite - element analysis
and a set of safe,reliable and automatic construction technology of MSS is developed.
Research conclusions :( 1) The under-deck MSS( movable scaffolding system) witli standard span of 60 m,maximum casting length 72 m and the carrying capacity of 3 000 t is developed and used successfully. (2) A safety, high
efficiency and precision preloading of movable formwork is achived by using the equivalent load combination. ( 3 ) Based on the finite element simulation analysis,the construction joint of box girder is determined to prevent cracking of beam
body effectively. (4) The hydraulic and electric control system is used to realize the model rising,falling,opening and
closing automatically. (5) The mobile device of MSS main beam is develeped to realize in rapid and successful crossing
span. (6)The research result has a better guidance for the bridge construction by MSS.
