Abstract Abstract : Research purposes : Based on the understanding of the principle and technical advantage of lower - medium speed maglev transit system,this article is to research in what areas this new transit style can Te used,and point out the
problems existing in low speed maglev traffic engineering promoting. Combined with the requirements of rail transit
Passenger and urban environment,we should explore the future development direction of lower - medium speed maglev
transit system.
Research conclusions : As a new model of urban transit,the lower - medium speed maglev transit system characterizes
with small radius,great grade ability,low noise and liberation,it can be used in urban transit system. In order to spread
the utilization of this new transit system, we should further research how to increase the capacity by improving the switch,how to reduce the weight of the vehicles, how to modularize the structural engineering such as bridge and sub - rail foundations,how to simplify the depot facilities and what kind of facility should be equipped for evacuation.
This paper can be a reference for establishment of the relevant technical standard.
