Research on Medium Long-term Railway Network Planning of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone

Research purposes : For the construction of strong smooth,rational layout,line coordination,accessibility, and high quality modern rail transport network,based on analyzing the existing problems of railway construction of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,railway traffic volume forecast demand and railway network reasonable scale,a scheme of Medium and long-term railway network planning of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone would be proposed.
Research conclusions:(1)Based on the existing general speed railway,high-speed railway,passenger dedicated line,according to passenger and freight transportation need,foreign railway transportation channel fluency would be realized. ( 2)Make full use of existing rapid railway,the inter-city railway would be formed with the area's economic and social development planning,which primary and secondary is clear, and maximum to link the main passenger distribution point within the region.(3)Considered the coordinated development of trunk,branch line,hub and station,the railway should maintain organic link with the city track traffic and other modes of transport:(4)The results of research may provide guidance of railway layout and regional comprehensive transportation development for coastal area,city group,but also provide reference for relevant functional departments to make decisions.

Research on Planning Layout of Railway Freight Station in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Research purposes: Many railway lines in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have begun construction in recent years,but the system's function,scale and capacity of the railway freight station can not satisfy the needs of development. The railway freight station and strategic cargo-loading spot of railway system based on the intelligent loading system,the centralized storage,the complete train-car distribution,complete train-loading and complete train-starting are crucial to the tonne-kilometer and the production efficiency. Combined with the relative construction projects and the planned railway projects and by utilizing the thought of modern logistics,the reasonable planning layout of the system of railway freight stations in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is presented.
Research conclusions:From the study on the planning layout of the railway freight stations in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,it is concluded:(1)193 railway freight stations and 321 cargo-loading spots and special lines should be built to respectively transport the goods of 752. 95 million tons in 2015 and 968. 43 million tons in 2020, respectively accounting for 76. 96% and 82.5% of the total transportation volume of the autonomous region.(2)The coal,chemical products and other bulk materials will be transported collectively for enhancing the intensive degree of goods transportation.(3)This study result can be used for the railway cargo-loading spot,the logistics park planning, site selection and construction fields.

Research on Scheme for Leading Chengdu-Guiyang Passenger Dedicated Line into Yibin Area

Research purposes: Now the Yibin area has the Neijiang-Kunming Railway and the Yibin-Gongxian Branch Railway. With leading the Chengdu-Guiyang Passenger Dedicated line and the planned Chongqing-Kunming, Mianyang-Suining—Neijiang—Yibin railway into the Yibin area,the direct influence will be produced on the transportation and economic development in the Yinbin area. So it is necessary to replan the railway pattern in the Yibin area. Based on the research and analysis of the engineering investment,passenger traffic effect and coordination with the city planning, a reasonable regional general layout scheme is presented.
Research conclusions : To the scheme for leading the Chengdu-Guiyang Passenger Dedicated Line,the following points should be paid attention to:(1)The analysis and research should be made and done in accordance with the thoughts of "asking the questions,analyzing the problem and solving the problems". According to the principle of"straightening the passage,deepening the passenger traffic into the city proper and separating the passenger and freight traffic",the new railway should be led into the existing station to make full use of the existing railway lines and relative facilities and facilitate the management.(2)Furthermore,on consideration of the new channel and the corresponding site,the to the point of line selection method should be used for determining the main station sites and then determining the appropriate railway line direction.(3)The schemes should be compared in attraction of passenger flow,convergence of city planning and project investment to determine the general layout scheme. ( 4 ) This research results can be used for determining the general scheme for leading the new railway line into the city or transportation terminal.

Research on Reconstruction Schemes for Upgrading of Guangtong-Dali Railway Line

Research purposes: Combined with the upgrading of the Guangtong-Dali Railway, this paper analyzes the engineering measures and main technical standards for the upgrading project,including the comparison and selection of the upgrading schemes,ruling gradients,speed-raising upgrading, speed target value and the number of main tracks to provide the reference to the upgrading of exiting railways.
Research conclusions:(1)In the upgrading projects of existing railway,the existing railway is often unable to meet the demands of transportation due to its low standards, small transportation capacity and slow running speed. ( 2 ) Based on the idea of"capacity expansion by upgrading the existing line→capacity expansion and upgrading by building the second line→capacity expansion and upgrading by building the new double-track line",the systematic study was done on this project. Combined with the features of the topographical conditions,geological conditions and urban planning along the railway,an reconstruction plan suitable for the convenient transportation organization,coordination of the capacities between lines and stations and getting the good economic benefits and strong market competitive capacity was selected after making an economical and technical comparison.(3)This study results is also available for the other projects of upgrading of existing railway.

Selection and Application of Fusion Algorithms for Interpretation of Remote Sensing Images for Railway Geology

Research purposes: The image fusion is an important method for processing the data in interpretation of remote sensing image. In order to improve the accuracy and quality of interpreting the remote sensing image,the study was done on selection of the image fusion algorithms with the qualitative and the quantitative evaluation methods.
Research conclusions :(1)The HPF transform and wavelet transform are good in spectral fidelity and texture clarity and they can be used as the preferred data fusion methods for interpretation of the remote sensing image for the engineering geology. ( 2 ) Based on the HPF transform result, the information about the fault and unfavorable geological conditions can be interpreted with the accuracy rate above 80 percent. The interpretation accuracy for the unfavorable geological conditions can be improved by using the preferred fusion algorithm.(3)Because of the differences in terms of the data source,time and region,the effect of the fusion algorithms should be evaluated and selected before the image interpretation. ( 4 ) This study result can be used for the evaluation and selection of the fusion algorithms.

Characteristic Analysis of Landslides in a Section of Xi'an-Chengdu Railway and Railway Alignment Strategy

Research purposes: Landslide is a common geologic disaster, but it usually causes the threat to people's life and properties. In the Baolun-Shiyangba section of the Xi ′an-Chengdu Railway,the landslides very develop in the left bank of the Qingjiang River. They are mainly big or huge,with the obvious land slide characteristics and regularities. In order to find out the development regularities of the landslides and provide the basis for the geologic alignment of the railway in this section,the systematic analysis is carried out for the characteristics of the ten landslides in this section.
Research conclusions:(1)The landslides are usually of large scales with the obvious landslide characteristics and clear landslide elements. The landslide back wall are usually long and the surrounding boundaries are regulated by the combined cutting joints. (2)The landslide shape is related to the included angle between sliding direction and bedding rock tendency.(3)The geological alignment of the railway in this section should comprehensively consider the engineering situations in the section,and the principle of the”passing round first and then engineering treatment" should be followed. So the railway should be preferentially built in the right bank of the Qingjiang River to keep the railway away from the consequent slope. If the railway has to be built in the left band of the river, the best scheme with the least investment should be adopted.(4)The research results presented in this paper can be used for the railway alignment in the area with similar geological conditions to avoid the economic waste and construction risk due to the change of the schemes in later stage.

Characteristics of Soft Soil in Fault Basin in Northwest Region of Yunan Province and Principle of Railway Alignment in This Area

Research purposes:Soft soil is broadly distributed and deep-buried in the northwest region of Yunan province,with many sorts and thick soils. The research was done on the cause of formation and the characteristics of soft soil to summarize the characteristics of the soft soil in fault basin and the principle of geological alignment of railway was presented for providing the reference to the research on similar soft soil.
Research conclusions:(1)The control of the regional geological structure on the distribution of the soft soil represents: Firstly,the neotectonics movement is the essential cause of forming for the soft soil. Secondly,the regional fault structure controls the distribution of soft soil in fault basin.(2)The soft soil in this fault basin has eight characteristics. These characteristics include the high natural water content,big crude void rate,strong compressibility,good plasticity, low intensity,low consolidating coefficient,low water permeability and poor homogeneity.(3)The railway alignment in the area of thick soft soil should pass round the area of deep and thick soft soil area based on considering the investment. The alignment principle should be determined on the basis of fully researching the influence of regional structure on the distribution of soft soil. (4)The research result is available for the engineering geological investigation for the railway in the active faults area in the northwest region and in the soft soil developing area.

Discussion on Discrimination of Railway Earthquake Liquefaction

Research purposes :As the earthquake liquefaction is as a natural phenomenon of the rock soil caused by earthquake,this should be of no relationship with engineering, but currently there is rather gaps between the similar industries in stipulation on discrimination of the liquefaction. In actual works,the different industry standards are used for the different engineerings in the same site,resulting in the big gap in discrimination of the liquefaction. Taking the discrimination results of 8 drilling holes and 23 standard penetration points obtained by using the different industry specifications as examples,this paper discusses the stipulation on discrimination of railway earthquake liquefaction combined with the relevant industry standards and the specifications in United States and Japan.
Research conclusions:(1)The depth of liquefaction is 20 m below ground(including 7 degrees range).(2)The formula presented in the Code for Seismic Design of Buildings(GB 50011-2010)can be used as the liquefaction formula.(3)The foundation liquefaction can be graded according to the Table 4. 3. 5 of the Code for Seismic Design of Buildings(GB 50011-2010).(4)This research results are available for revision of the relative codes and can be directly used in the bridge construction site with friction pile to be on the safe side.

Discussion on Design and Calculating Method for Reinforcing Subgrde with Oblique Cement Soil Pile

Research purposes: The oblique cement soil pile is one of effective ways to reinforce the subgrade of the existing railway being open to service. However, there is no specification on its design and calculating methods,the pile spacing, pile length and pile strength are usually designed with experience. In this paper, starting from the reinforcement mechanism of the oblique cement soil pile,the design and calculating model is built for the oblique cement soil pile,and combined with the layerwise summation method,a new method for determining the vertical spacing and vertical row distance of the oblique cement soil pile is presented.
Research conclusions:(1)With this method,two symmetrical oblique cement soil piles are simplified as two equivalent sheets. ( 2 ) The top and bottom forces of the sheet and the bending moment are obtained by calculation of the balance relationship.(3)The pile spacing is determined by the tensile strength of pile body.(4)The Row spacing is determined by the ratio of settlement reduction after the subgrade reinforced to the total settlement without reinforcement (the ratio of reducing subsidence difference),and the reducing subsidence ratio of no bigger than 5 % of a row is regarded as the control standard.(5)The method is clear in concept,simple in calculation and easy to be mastered by engineering and technical personnels and has a wide applicable prospect in reinforcing the subgrade.

Study on Reinforcement Mechanisms for Soil between Cantilever Piles on Consideration of Soil Arching Effect

Research purposes: The sheet-pile retaining wall is a common protection engineering for railway slope and it is necessary to dig the soil in front of the pile before building the plate between the piles. In order to ensure the stability of the soil between piles,the anchors are usually built from top to bottom on excavation face. There are many risks in construction of the sheet-pile retaining wall,especially when the cantilever is high,the soil between piles is easy to collapse because the reinforcement mechanism of anchors between piles is very complex. This may brings the hidden trouble to the construction and the increase of the cost for refilling soil to the back side of the sheet-pile wall. This paper mainly researches the soil arching effect between piles and the reinforcement mechanism of anchor arm to provide the help for design and construction of the similar projects.
Research conclusions:(1)The collapse risk of the soil between piles can be effectively reduced by building a certain amount of anchor arms between the piles. The anchor arms can tightly connect the unstable soil between piles. The soil is compacted by soil arching for stabilizing the real soil. The compacted soil around the soil arching cycle plays a role of anchoring section.(2)The results of numerical analysis show that anchor should be arranged in the proper position with more density between the two adjacent cantilever piles because of the geometric influence of the soil arching effect between piles. This arrangement can produce a better reinforcement effect than the uniform arrangement.(3)The drilling depth of the pile anchor can be designed like this: the upper is shorter and the lower is properly longer, however, the drilling depth should not exceed 1 .5 times of the spacing between piles. If the lower part of the soil between piles is rather compacted,reduction of the drilling depth of the small anchor arm can be considered.(4)Most of reinforcing the soil between pile with anchor arm are used for further improving the stability of piles and soil and reducing the risk of road operation caused by the soil collapse and dropping between piles,or for beautifying the environment around the road.

Laboratory Model Test on Drainage-failure of Existing Retaining Structures

Research purposes: The drainage-failure of the existing retaining structures is a common disease. In order to uncover the relationship between earth pressure and pore water pressure,and to reveal the damage mechanism of existing retaining structures caused by drainage system′s failure,a series of model experiments were done in the laboratory to research on the variation of earth pressure and pore water pressure under three kinds of drainage condition with two different diameters soil samples(sand and clay),the value of earth pressure and pore water pressure before and after the water draining was also analyzed to identify this kind of change.
Research conclusions:(1)The test result shows that the earth pressure moved up sharply when soil was submerged in water, if the water in soil is not drained in time,and the maximum value of earth pressure could increase up to 145 % compared with the original value in the test. The failure of the wall drainage system will increase the stress of retaining structure significantly, and may result in the moving out or overturning of the structures.(2)Under the normal circumstances,the pore water pressure will dissipates rapidly. However, if the drainage system fails to work,the water discharge time will cast longer. (3)Therefore,the existing retaining structures should pay attention to drainage- failure in engineering application.(4)The research results may be a guidance for designs and managements of retaining structures.

Three-Dimensional Visualization Calculation and Research on Dynamic Simulation of Landslide Based on Open GL

Research purposes: In the course of landslide research,a lot of the information related to the three dimensional space and position are involved,such as the geological information,location information and landslide shape etc. In general all these information appear in the form of statements and 2D graphics,they can not give a person an intuitive impression. In this way , it is difficult to make full use of these information and grasp these information when it is necessary to integrate the information,and it is impossible to analyze the their applicable effects for the arrangement and construction when making the virtual engineering design with the 3D space. In this paper ,the 3D visualization software for the landslide is successfully developed with the Open GL software for building the landslide model , managing the landslide data,calculating the stability and conducting the 3D dynamic simulation to solve the problems of the landslide prediction and dynamic simulation.
Research conclusions:(1)Using the Open GL to make the secondary development can successfully calculate the landslide stability and realize the dynamic simulation of the sliding process of the landslide according to the calculation results,with the simple,easy practical and scientific process. (2) If the Open GL is used for landslide,it can provide the Brat help for the landslide survey and design,the demonstration and the teaching simulation } and it can greatly improve the working efficiency and working level. (3 ) By using the 3D terrain model of the landslide spatial form and the 3D landslide section model,the functions of the mapping,storing and outputting of the topographic maps,sectional drawing and drilling data and connecting sliding surface etc can be realized,and it provides the rapid means for the stability evaluation and engineering design. (4) The trial calculation of engineering practice show in the same condition, the calculation result is in line with the result of the survey report. (5) This study result is available for the dynamic 3D visualization simulation and stability calculation of landslide.

Selection of Main Technical Standards for Railway Based on the Multi-objective Decision-making Model

Research purposes: The main technical standards for railway are the basic standards for the railway 's buildings and equipment type,capacity and scale. So the selection of main technical standard for railway is related to the mufti-objective decision-making. Aiming at the difficulty in multiple objective decision-making for the selection of main technical standards for railway and based on the actual selection of main technical standards for the Guinea Simandou Railway,the auxiliary decision-making was implemented by using the mufti-objective decision-making model in order to explore a technically feasible ideas on overcoming the difficulty in the selection of main technical standards for railway based on the mufti-objective decision-making.
Research conclusions:(1)The main technical standards for railway are the basic constraint conditions for the railway alignment and design. ( 2 ) It is scientific and reasonable to define the selection of main technical standards for railway as an issue of multiple-objective decision-making.(3)Based on the mufti-objective decision making model with the linear weighted sum method for selection of main technical standards for railway is a technically feasible ideas on overcoming the difficulty in the selection of main technical standards for railway based on the mufti-objective decision-making. (4)The technical route of the selection of major technical standard for railway based on the mufti- objective decision-making model is available for the high-speed railway,ordinary speed railway and freight railway.

Influences of Diaphragm Plate and Geometric Characteristics on Distortion Effect of Steel Box Girder

Research purposes: As the roof plate,bottom plate and web of steel box girder are rather thin,the distortion stress easily happens due to their deformations in the sections under the effect of the eccentric load,resulting in the local buckling and web crinkling. In engineering application,a certain amount of diaphragm plates are installed in the .box girder to restrain the distortion deformation and reduce the distortion effect on the box girder. There is a small number of papers to study the effect of the diaphragm plate on the distortion deformation of the steel box girder, but these papers do not research the distortion effects on steel box girder under the conditions of various amounts of the diaphragm plates, different depth-span ratios and aspect ratios,so thees results have certain limitations. Based on these results,this paper analyzes the distortion effect on the simply-supported thin-walled steel box girder with the finite element model and discusses the influences of the diaphragm number and geometric parameters on distortion effect of the steel box girder.
Research conclusions:(1)The maximum normal stress of mid-span、distortion warping of the steel box girder fincreases with increase of diaphragm amount,when the box girder is narrow one with the aspect ratio of being approximately equal to 1 .5. In this case,the diaphragm plates of 3-5 ways should be installed in the span. ( 2 ) When the box girder is wide one with the aspect ratio of being approximately equal to 4. 5,the maximum normal stress of mid- span distortion warping of steel box girder decreases with increase of the diaphragmamount. In this case,the diaphragm plates of 9 ways should be installed in the span.(3)The results can provide the reference to the design of the same type bridge.

Design of Structure of Maintenance Vehicle for Railway Continuous Steel Truss Bridge with Variable Height

Research purposes: The bridge maintenance and repair is an essential to guaranteeing the service life of the bridge and the traffic safety. The Dongxin Gan River Bridge in Nanchang is a continuous steel truss bridge and it is the largest span four-track railway steel truss bridge in China. This paper studies the scheme for design of the bridge maintenance device featured with safe climbing and crossing span and meeting the bridge requirements for highly lifting, large horizontal span and good anti-electric performance.
Research conclusions: The scheme of the maintenance vehicle presented in this pape is as follows:(1)The maintenance vehicle can travel in walk type by control of the electric plug pin device,with no operation by person on the chord member. The anti rolling device is installed between the the vehicle and the rail to enhance the construction safety and the travel safety. ( 2)The maintenance vehicle can cross the span because the walking wheel box is made in arch shape. In this way,the whole maintenance works can be done by one maintenance vehicle and the maintenance cost can be reduced.(3)The full and safe maintenance can be conducted to the side of the upper arch and web member because the light extension-type suspension cage is used as the side operating platform and the limit protection device is used for the truss. ( 4 ) The technical scheme presented in this paper can provide the reference to the similar works.

Analysis of Key Technologies for Design of Qiaozhong Road Tunnel in Haikou

Research purposes: The project of the Qiaozhong Road Tunnel in Haikou had the features of complex external environment,tight construction duration and shallow structure etc. According to the project features and the requirement of construction process,the cover-excavation consequent method was used. Combined with this project, the study was done on the characteristics,calculation methods and usability of the three types of columns-steel lattice column,concrete filled steel tube column and reinforced concrete bored pile column. They are commonly used when the cover-excavation consequent method is adopted.
Research conclusions:(1)According to the special demands of the tight construction duration,the geological conditions of shallow buried stratum and depth of foundation pit,the cover-excavation consequent method was used for this project. ( 2 ) The steel lattice column,concrete filled steel tube column and reinforced concrete bored pile column were suitable for this tunnel project. The steel lattice column had the features of simple construction and easy waterproofing treatment for floor plate and low cost,but the vertical bearing capacity was relatively poor.(3)The concrete filled steel tube column had the features of the good bearing capacity and simple waterproofing treatment,but it required the high construction accuracy. ( 4 ) The reinforced concrete bored pile column had the features of the good bearing capacity and simple construction,but the waterproofing treatment was complex.(5)According to specific engineering conditions and construction technology level,the concrete filled steel tube column was used for this project. ( 6)The conclusions could be applied in the underground engineering with the cover-excavation consequent method.

Optimization of Numerical Method for Excavating Scheme for Large Underground Cavern

Research purposes: For the excavation of large underground cavern,it is necessary to determine the proper excavating scheme according to the section shape and geological conditions. Also it is necessary to work out the selection criteria for the scheme according to the actual construction situation for selecting the best scheme. In this paper, the introduction is given to the issues of the stability of the surrounding rock in construction of one large sectional underground cavern,the productions of the minimum damaged floor and the minimum maximum displace caused disturbance during excavation are taken as the the optimal principle,and the simulation calculations of the excavation sequences in the same section with two numerical methods are made for getting the optimal construction scheme.
Research conclusions:(1)For excavation of large underground cavern,the minimum plastic damaged area, the vault settlement and the convergence deformation of the side wall caused by excavation can be used as the criteria for judging the excavation scheme.(2)From the angle of reducing disturbance on the surrounding rock,the excavation scheme of cutting the exposure time of the final boundary of the cavern section,such as first excavation of the pilot tunnel and then excavation of whole section,is better than the excavation scheme of directly excavating the sectional profile.(3)For this project,the excavation scheme of excavation of multiple pilot tunnels is better than the traditional excavation scheme of excavation in layer. ( 4 ) This research result is available for the optimal selection of excavation scheme for excavation of section of the cavern.

Research on the Environmental Impact Factors of Electromagnetic Radiation from High-speed Railway

Research purposes: With the rapid development of high-speed railway , electromagnetic radiation from high- speed railway has become widespread environmental concerns , but its impact on the human body is inconclusive. So, this paper carried out analysis and studied on environmental impact factors of electromagnetic radiation from high-speed railway.,
Research conclusions:(1)Currently there are many global differences in research results,conclusions and viewpoints on biological effects of electromagnetic radiation; there are still uncertainties of the impact of electromagnetic radiation from high-speed railway on the human body, which needs long-term and in-depth exploration and research. (2) In general electromagnetic radiation from Wuhan-Guangzhou Passenger Line does not constitute prominent environmental impact ,but taking into account the emotions of anxieties and worries of the people along the line to electromagnetic radiation , the project construction company still makes its best efforts to take necessary protective measures to ensure that the health of residents around the sensitive facilities are not affected,and the people along the line whose TV reception may be affected receive reasonable compensation.(3)The mitigation measures include base station location optimization,housing function replacement and cost compensation,etc. (4) The research results of this paper will provide a reference for environmental impact assessment ( EIA) and preventive measures of the electromagnetic radiation from high-speed railway.

Study on Reconstruction Scheme of Storey-adding for Overhead Waiting Room of A Railway Station

Research purposes: A railway station was built in the mid-1990s of 20 century,and it is necessary to conduct the reconstruction work of storey-adding of its overhead waiting room because of the insufficiency of functions of the waiting room. The two reconstruction schemes of reforming the existing frame structures and building new steel structures for storey-adding were put forward and the study was done on selection of the reconstruction schemes from the areas of the railway clearance,reasonable service life,standard for seismic design,seismic evaluation and reinforcement and engineering feasibility for providing the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: (1)The storey-adding of the existing railway station is different from the reconstruction of civil architecture because the station operation,construction period and construction cost should be considered.(2)The reliability and seismic capacity of the existing building structure should be evaluated. According to the evaluation results,the reasonable service life and the standard for seismic design should be selected for determining the storey- adding scheme.(3)The seismic evaluation and reinforcement of the existing structure are crucial to the design and design study. ( 4)The scheme of building new structures was chosen and it avoided the large seismic reinforcement of the overhead structure and ensured the feasibility of the storey-adding project.

Analysis of Plane Layout for Intermediate Station of Railway Line for Mixed Passenger and Freight Traffic

Research purposes: The intermediate station is the most universal,the most common and the most basic station type in the railway,with the characteristics of the less arrival and departure tracks and simple layout of the throat area. However, the layout of the suck kind of the station can not be designed freely,or designed simply on consideration of the terrain conditions. The layout must satisfy the basic demands of the reasonable transportation organization scheme. On consideration of the influence factor of setting up the high platform of the railway line for mixed passenger and freight traffic on running the train with out-of-gauge goods,this paper analyzes the plane layout of intermediate station and presents the reasonable layout of suck station for providing the reference to the design of the intermediate station of the railway line for mixed passenger and freight traffic.
Research conclusions (1)In the intermediate station of the railway line for mixed passenger and freight traffic,two or three arrival and departure tracks should be built for the intermediate station without the 1 .25 m high platform to meet the conditions of the three intersection or turning off the train in bi-direction by using the lateral arrangement of station track.(2) When the 1 .25 m high platform is built in intermediate station,the reasonable number and position of the arrival and departure tracks and the reasonable station layout should be chosen on full consideration of the operation situation of the train with out-of-gauge goods and the train operation situation in the station.(3)The layout figures of the intermediate station of the railway line for mixed passenger and freight traffic presented in this paper presents can provide the reference to the design of the similar works.

Research on Design of Energy Saving Slop of Subway
CHEN FU-an
Research purposes: The subway is as the current and future's development direction of green transportation, but the energy consumption of subway is huge and its power consumption is up to the more than 50% of total power consumption of the urban rail transit. In this paper, the research is done on the longitudinal sections of the”V" type slope,single slope and large interval in order to present the design method for the energy-saving vertical section under the various conditions and provide reference to the energy-saving design of subway's vertical section for effectively reducing the energy consumption of subway traction.
Research conclusions: From the deep research on the research's background,concept and application of the energy saving slope,the design methods for the energy-saving profile are presented.(1)The reasonable slope length and slope of”V" type profile should used for the small interval between stations.(2)The single slope with first relief after steep should be used for the interval between adjacent stations with big gap in elevation.(3)The larger”W" type profile should be used for the large between stations.(4)In the underground engineering,especially for the track design with underground laying method, the profile design can be optimized by using this method to achieve the energy- saving purpose of longitudinal section.

Analysis of Energy-saving Effect of Rail Transit Control Center with New Type Photovoltaic Wall

Research purposes: Taking a planned rail transit control center that will use the BIPV/T technology as the study object and aiming at its differences from the conventional public buildings,this paper deeply studies the energy- saving effect by using the BIPV/T technology with the FLUENT and TRNSYS software to evaluate the energy-saving effect of the building.
Research conclusions: From the comparison and analysis it is concluded: (1)The annual generating capacity of the BIPV/T wall of the control center can be up to 128. 94 MWh.(2)The air-conditioning load for the BIPV/T wall of the control center can be much reduced by 4. 91 MWh in summer, dropping of 10. 21%.(3)The air-conditioning load for the BIPV/T wall of the control center can be reduced by 4. 48 MWh,dropping of 4. 15 %.(4)The heat production of the BIPV/T wall in winter can preheat the fresh air and it can effectively reduce the outdoor air heating load by 45. 18 MWh,dropping of 18. 11%.(5)This study result can provide the reference to the reasonable design and application of the BIPV/T technology for the special building like the control center of rail transit.

Discussion on Operational Management Mode of Joint Venture Railway Entity-type Company

Research purposes : Under the backgrounds of separating government functions from railway enterprise management, reforming construction mode and diversification investment and putting a large number of high-speed railways into service,it is necessary to comprehensively analyze the development, management characteristics and experience of Guangxi coastal railway and discuss the adaptability and rationality of adopting self-management and self- operation model in entity-type company and the problems in commissioned transportation and management mode in order to improve the operational management level of the joint venture railway and provide the reference to improving the profitability of joint venture railway.
Research conclusions:(1)After finishing the upgrading of the Guangxi coast railways,the self-management and self- operation model will be conformed to laws and regulations,and it will be conducive to the realization of the mutual benefit and win-win to the investment side,conducive to the reforms of investment and financing systems and conductive to realization of the diversification for railway construction.(2)If the commissioned transportation and management will be adopted,the Guangxi Yanhai Railway Company Limited will gradually lose its long-term business and it is not conducive to carrying out the trade and logistics business supported by the transportation and control of the costs.(3)From the angles of realizing unified scheduling, safety and high efficiency of the regional railway network,it is possible to consider to trust some business of the Gunagxi coast railways to the national railway enterprise,such as dispatching command and device management of the Guangxi coastal high-speed railway. ( 4 ) The research results can provide the reference and guidance to selection of operational management mode and the sustainable development of the newly built and reconstructive joint venture railways.

Analysis and Research on Financing Model of Intercity Railway

Research purposes:As the capital-intensive projects,the intercity railway project require huge amounts of investment in the construction period. How to broaden the financing way for the intercity railway,how to revitalize the huge stock of assets and how to realize preserving and increasing the value of the assets are crucial to the rapid and sustainable development of the intercity railway. So exploring the financing model for the intercity railway has great Significance.
Research conclusions:In combination with the characteristics of intercity railway,in this paper it is proposed that the financing model for intercity railway should be led by the government,along with using the market mechanisms and diversified financing methods and getting the support of the bank loans.(1)The financing model of land and property developments is the most effective way to make the public benefits of transport back to the construction of urban rail transit. ( 2)The local government bond is a good financing source for the infrastructure funding by the government. (3)The BT project financing is available for the financing for the non-operating infrastructure projects.(4)The medium-term note is the most potential financing way for intercity railway because it has the less restrictions compared with local bonds and corporate bonds. ( 5)The financing models presented in this paper can provide the reference to the financing for intercity railway,suburb railway,urban rail transit and other area.
