1 Research on Determination of Direction of Regional Integrated Transportation Approach Based on Importance Degree

Research purposes:The traffic network planning is an important part of the regional transportation construction,and reasonably determining the transportation approach is the key to the regional traffic network planning.At present,the planning and design departments make the designs of the most transportation approach mostly based on the macro - analysis,lacking the necessary theoretical support.So it's urgent to do the corresponding research to make up for the deficiency.
Research conclusions:(1) The regional integrated transportation approach can be determined with the rotating sector method based on the calculation of the node importance and the layering of the dynamic clustering analysis.(2) After the approach direction is determined primarily,the track direction can be adjusted relevantly according to the situation and direction of the existing track,the regional features,the functional orientation of the integrated transportation approach,the connections of the approach with outside tracks and terminal and the relevant development policy.(3) This method has been used in the Nanchong Regional Integrated Transportation Planning and the application shows this method can be used widely in the regional integrated transportation network planning.

6 Research on Overall Design Plan of Mine Heavy - haul Railway

Research purposes:With speeding up the pace of China developing the overseas mining resources,the Chinese infrastructure companies took over many mine heavy - haul railway projects,with the axle load of more than 30 t and the traction quality of 20000 t or above. At present,there is no such project in China. This paper presents the overall design plan of the mine heavy - haul railway based on the study on the axile load,traction quality,number of the main track and maximum gradient according to the traffic demand and function orientation in order to break through the traditional design ideas in China.
Research conclusions:From the study it is concluded: (1) The plan of adopting the 37 t axile load and 3500 t traction quality is economic and reasonable.(2) The concept of strengthening the fundamental and weakening the trivial should be followed in matching facilities and the matching facilities should be simple,using China - made products.

9 Exploration of Structure Characteristics of Fault for Zhongtiaoshan Tunnel with Magnetotelluric Method

Research purposes:In recent years,the magnetotelluric method has become one of the most common and effective ways for the geophysical exploration for the long and deep - buried railway tunnel.The magnetotelluric method uses the natural electromagnetic signal as the field source to observe the time serials of the natural electromagnetic signal and compute the value of resistivity and its impedance phase by transforming the observed data from time domain to frequency domain. After the Robust processing and 1 - d inversion of the topography are conducted,the field data can actually reflect the underground geological information precisely.
Research conclusions:In the research on the alignment of the Zhongtiaoshan Tunnel,the natural source audio frequency magnetotelluric was used for the geophysical exploration to find out the stratum condition and unfavorable geological structures in the survey area,achieving the expected survey target.During the exploration for the Zhongtiaoshan Tunnel,the 11 Class - I geophysical abnormalities,8 Class - II geophysical abnormalities and faults of F2、F3、F4 were deduced,and to them the more attention would be paid during construction.The magnetotelluric method has the featurs of simple out - door application,low cost and deep depth detecting due to using the natural MT signal as the field source.As the AMT uses higher band frequencies,it has higher resolution in the shallow areas.It is available for the engineering investigation,and the desirable results of the explorartion for the Zhongtiaoshan Tunnel was achieved.

14 Application of Digital Alignment Platform for Different Railway Design Stages

Research purposes:The digital earth platform like the Google Earth can provide the rich global digital terrain data and the digital image data. In the earlier - stage study on the railway project,how to quickly get the data on the regional terrain elevation,build the digital triangulation network ground model and apply the technologies of the CAD, visualization and human - computer interaction are the basis to realize the visualization of the tracks' interactive linkage and make the the track alignment design. This paper describes the earlier - stage research on application of the digital alignment platform for the new railway project and especially presents the application of the platform in the railway projects at home and abroad under the condition of lacking the vector quantization topographic map to prove its practical value by the actual projects for providing the reference to its application.
Research conclusions: (1) The digital alignment platform for the different railway design stages has been widely used in the alignment designs of the earlier - stge study made by us at home and abroad to realize the three - dimensional dynamic design from the traditional two - dimensional static design and it can obviously enhance the efficiency and level of the track design.(2) The application of the platform can much reduce the working strength of designer and improve the design quality.

18 Analysis of Site Selection of Abandoned Dregs Field for Mountain High-speed Railway

Research purposes:In the construction process of mountain high - speed railway,a large number of abandoned dregs are produced because of the complex terrain and high design criteria,and it has a big effects on the construction cost,environmental protection,construction period and construction safety. As the principles of the site selection and design were implemented improperly,some previous designs had to be changed in construction stage to produce the big wastes of the manpower and material resources,even bring about the hidden safety danger. The 90% tracks of Yichang - Wanzhou Railway are located in the mountain and hill areas,with crossing some forest and water resource areas. How to reasonably select the site of the abandoned dregs field and how to design it are the very important works in the construction process of the mountain high - speed railway.
Research conclusions: Based on the features of the Chongqing - Wanzhou Railway,it is concluded from the study:(1) The abandoned dregs field for the mountain high - speed railway should occupy the farmland as less as possible,and it should keep far away from the residential area and produce the less traffic interference.(2) The geological survey and protection works should be well done to get rid of the geological disasters like landslide.(3) The filling dreg field should be adopted as much as possible if the condition is allowable because it serves a double. The mountain gully or mountain foot should be selected as the site of the dreg field because it uses less land and is easy for delivery the dreg.The research result can provide the reference to the similar works.

21 Main Geological Problems of Lhasa - Xigaze Railway in Brahmaputra Canyon Area and Countermeasures

Research purposes:The canyon area in the section between the Semai and Dazhuka of the Lhasa - XiGAZE Railway is located in the giant Brahmaputra fault zone,with the developed and complex unfavorable geological phenomenon,such as the landslide,scattering,avalanches,rock heap,rock falling,debris flow and geothermal.Through the analysis of these main geological problems,the control programs on the unfavorable geological conditions were presented for providing the reference to the railway alignment.
Research conclusions: The railway alignment and the setting up of projects of the Lhasa - Xigaze Railway were seriously impacted by the complex and unfavorable topographical and geological conditions in the Brahmaputra canyon area.However,Through the comprehensive analysis and summing up the main geological problems involving in the railway alignment,the relevant measures for controlling the geological problems were worked out in classification to overcome the main geological problems,lower down the construction risk and optimize the alignment thinking,obtaining the good result.It is worth wide using in the similar works.

26 Preliminary Discussion on Engineering Characteristics of Ethiopian Basalt Residual Soil

Research purposes:Combined Ethiopia light rail transmit investigation project ( phase one) ,the stratum lithology characteristics and physical and mechanical properties of basalt residual soil is analyzed by the comprehensive methods of mapping,exploration and laboratory tests.Comparison of domestic usual measures and local construction experience,engineering schemes of basalt residual soil are provided preliminarily.
Research conclusions: (1) Basalt residual soil is different from granite residual soil and common cohesive soil.Laboratory test result shows that it has some special traits such as smaller natural density,larger water content and void ratio,the free expansion rate greatly changes.(2) It is better to take many methods,such as in - site,laboratory test and engineering prospect,to make geotechnical analysis and evaluation of basalt residual soil in field investigation processing.(3) Chinese codes can be referred during investigation,but it can not be directly used,the local geotechnical investigation data,engineering experiences and methods should be collected in construction period.(4) This research results can be applicated for investigation of geotecnical engineering of metro and light rail transit in igneous area.

30 Research on Improvement of Clay of Upper Pleistocene Series of Quaternary System

Research purposes:The introduction is given to the engineering characteristics of the clay of the upper pleistocene series of the Quaternary System and the improvement of the clay is made by using the different matching ratios of the lime,the cement,the firming agent and the flyash to obtain the change of the grain compositions,the changes of the plastic limit,the liquid limit and the plastic index,the changes of the contractibility and the dilatability characteristics,the change of the parameters of compaction test and the changes of the strength and water stability for making the improved clay meeting the requirement of the filling material for high - speed railway.
Research conclusions: (1)The Xiashu clay is a filling material with relatively special engineering characteristics and its water content has the obvious effects on the soil strength and dynamic modulus.(2) By mixing with the quicklime,the hydrated lime,the ordinary Portland cement and the soil firming agent by certain ratios,the soil strength and water stability can be enhanced and the compressibility,the contractibility and the dilatability of the soil can be reduced,but the targets mentioned above can not be achieved only by mixing with flyash. (3) The research on improvement of the Xiashu clay can provide the reference to choice of the filling material for high - speed railway in the south area of China.

36 Study on Quality Control of Graded Broken Stone for Railway Subgrade Engineering

Research purposes:The filling test with graded broken stone was done for the Tianjin - Qinhuangdao Passenger Dedicated Line to solve the problems of influencing the quality of the subgrade by the material,gradation,mud content,cement content and compactness of graded broken stone. The analysis and research were made and done on the key reasons and points for influencing the quality of the subgrade.The specific measures were presented for avoiding the appearance of the quality problem,potential safety hazard and subgrade diseases. The study presented in this paper has a guiding significance for design of the railway graded broken stone and control of construction quality.
Research conclusions: The gradation of graded broken stone must satisfy the technical requirements. The stone should be washed and the fine particles below 0.075 mm should be screened out during construction.The quality control index should include the unconfined compressive strength in different age and different dosage,the freeze thawing,the permeability,the resilience modulus,the shrinkage and the fatigue,and all these indexs should increase before and after the construction.The plain concrete can be made of the graded broken stone with cement,and this construction method is mature. The plain concrete strength should be designed as C25 to keep enough stiffness and prevent freezing damage.But the concrete grade should not be too high and its volume should not be too big in order to avoid the high cost of the high grade and mass concrete with being easy to crack.

41 Analysis of Reason for Slope Disease at K 564 of Baotou - Xi'an Railway and Control Measures

Research purposes:The shearing stagger and 3 loop cracks were found in the interface between the soil and stone on the parapet wall of the left cutting at K 564 + 050 + 150 of the Baotou-Xi'an Railway and on the surface of the natural hillside outside of the cutting top. These diseases brought about the safety hazard to the normal operation of the railway.The investigation was made on the reasons and mechanism for the slope disease to provide the basis for taking control measures and provide the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: The changes of the runoff conditions of surface water and underground water were the external factors for the occurrence of the diseases. The influence of climatic environment was the induction factor. The changes of the physical mechanics indexes of the soil on the interface between the soil and stone and the formation of soft plastic belt were crucial to the formation and occurrence of diseases. The occurrence and development of diseases were basically consistent with the local freeze thawing cycle regulation. On the basis of disease analysis,the study was done on the control measures,and the control scheme of the emergency measures along with the permanent treatment were worked out and carried out,obtaining the perfect result.

46 Research on Comprehensive Geophysical Exploration for Hidden Danger to Subgrade of Passenger Dedicated Line

Research purposes:As the new type of subgrade of passenger dedicated line has the features that there is hardening layer with graded broken stones and there is soil with unoriginal shape under the subgrade surface.It is difficult to survey,investigate and grade the hidden danger to the subgrade with the traditional drilling method or sampling method due to the limitations,the disease features and outside conference. The comprehensive geophysical exploration is the best way for the comprehensive exploration.
Research conclusions: From the study and summarization on the comprehensive geophysical exploration for the subgrade,it is concluded: (1) The high density electrical sounding or high density resistivity methods should be used for the weak cutting with high water content.(2) The transient rayleigh - wave method should be used for the weak cutting with low compactness.(3) The GPR,transient rayleigh - wave and CPT methods can be used for the contacting parts of the cutting and embankment.(4) The GPR and transient rayleigh - wave methods are available for the water logging or water damaged subgrade. By using these methods,the subgrade status and its disease location,size and range can be revealed accurately,and therefore the hidden danger to the subgrade can be detected accurately and controlled timely to lay a solid foundation for the normal operation of the high - speed railway.

51 CRTS Ⅲ Slab Track Technology Applied in Wuhan to Xianning Intercity Railway

Research purposes:The CRTSⅢ slab track is a new type of ballastless track researched and developed by China independently. However,it has some problems,such as the structural inconsistence between the bridge and subgrade section,the complex construction process,high construction cost,difficult maintenance. In order to improve the adaptability of the structure,expand the applicable scope and meet the requirement of the intercity railway at speed of 200 km /h or above,the CRTS Ⅲ slab track 's design,measurement and construction technologies were deeply researched and optimized for the intercity railway from Wuhan to Xianning on the basis of summing up the experiences of ballastless track design,construction and operating at home and abroad.
Research conclusions: The unified unit block structure was used for the subgrade,bridge and tunnel sections to simplify the construction technology and improve the maintainability of track structure. The high precision measurement and control system based on the technologies of the CP Ⅲ control network and free station improved the efficiency of the fine tuning by more than 50% . The pass percent of the concrete appearance was up to more than 95% because of the perfect design of the template structure of the base and filling layers.

56 Research on the Spatial Analysis of Short Tower Cable - stayed Bridge on Tianjin - Baoding Railway

Research purposes:A ballasted track low tower cable - stayed bridge with span arrangement of ( 84+ 56+32) m is adopted in constructing the upper major bridge of the proposed Ziya River,Tianjin - Baoding Railway Bridge.Considering its unsymmetry and complexity,the article focuses on calculating and analysing the spacial statics,the dynamic characteristics,the stability,the cable stress amplitude,the unbalanced cable force,the local stress,the seismic performance,and so on to prove the safety of either whole or partial structure.
Research conclusions: The research shows: (1) Transverse and vertical deformation of the main beam is small,even under the consideration of train load and temperature effect,thus the structure is sufficiently rigid.(2) The stress and intensity safety factor of each section of the main beam are within the limits of the design specification requirements. (3) The strength safety factor of the inclined cable is 2.75 and the anti -slip safety factor of the saddles epoxy mortar on both sides of the divider silk tubes is greater than 3.0,which guarantees enough security.(4) The elastic buckling stability factor of the main structure is greater than 5,which confirms that the structural stability meets the specification requirements.(5) The bridge satisfies the target of seismic design that“A Bridge should be Unruinable in Micro Seism,Repairable in Medium Shock,and does not Fall in Strong Earthquakes”.

61 Modular Construction Technology for Foundation of Main Pylon Pier of Erqi Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan

Research purposes:The main bridge of the Erqi Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan is a composite girder cable-stayed bridge with three pylons and double cable planes. The Pylon Pier 5 is the side pylon pier among the three main pylons.The conventional scattered assembling method could not be used for the drilling platform and cofferdam for the deep water foundation because of the surrounding environment and the limitation of the construction schedule,so the special modular construction technology was studied and adopted.
Research conclusions:With this construction technology,the drilling platform and the cofferdam were divided into five large - scale modules,and the units manufactured in the factory were hauled to the pier site after being assembled integrally on the water in other places. On the construction site,the two modules used for supporting the cofferdam were hoisted by the large floating crane firstly.Then the steel casing was inserted,and the three modules of the drilling platform were hoisted to form a stable drilling platform. After these,the modules used for supporting the cofferdam were connected integrally and sunk to the design elevation. Finally,the cofferdam was built by inserting the steel casing along the inner support.This construction technology has features of the convenient installation,high construction security and reliable quality. Therefore,this construction technology can provide the reference to the similar works.

68 Design Technology for Unequal Span Double - arch Tunnel under Shallow Biasing Condition

Research purposes:There are many technical problems in design of the unequal span double-arch tunnel due to its special structure and complex construction technology.Taking the Xinzuofang Tunnel of the second line of the Suining - Chongqqing Railway as the engineering background,the study was done on the key design technologies for the unequal span double - arch tunnel under shallow biasing condition.
Research conclusions:Combined with construction of the Xinzuofang Tunnel,from the study on the key design,construction and waterproof and drainage technologies for the mid-partition wall structure of the unequal span double-arch tunnel,it is concluded: ( 1) During the construction of the unequal span double-arch tunnel,the mid-partition wall is always suffered from the dynamical unequal force,so its stability is crucial to the stability and security of the whole tunnel structure. ( 2 ) The three bench method of the mid - pilot tunnel-right tunnel-left tunnel is more available for construction of such kind of tunnel.(3) The waterproof and drainage technologies along with water blocking can effectively solve the water seepage on the top of middle-partition wall.The key technologies presented in this paper have been used in construction of the Xinzuofang Tunnel,achieving the expected result. The result can be as the reference to the similar works.

74 Discussion on Problems of Geological Exploration for Gas Tunnels

Research purposes:Gas explosion is one of the most severe disasters in construction of railway and road tunnels and it can produce the extremely serious consequence. Although the relative norms and regulations have provided the instructions on what parameters should be collected and what kinds of experiments should be done during the geological exploration,but in practice,it still remains vague. So it is necessary to do the further study on it and present the more specific operational requirements.
Research conclusions:The geological exploration should be conducted around the three conditions of having effects on the gas explosion. Based on existing data,the parameters,such as the gas pressure,gas content of per ton of coal,firmness coefficient of coal,initial velocity of gas diffusion and gas concentration under ventilation condition,have to be measured on the working face. At the same time,the necessary deep bore drilling should be conducted to collect the gas in the deep bore and measure the gas content,gas emission volume and gas pressure. The cross - hole uncovering coal formula is used to calculate the gas emission volume in tunnel for grading the gas working zone and gas area. All of these works can provide the parameters for the tunnel design and construction so that the relative measures can be taken.

79 Research on Gas Characteristics and Partition Prediction of Gas of Laoshishan Tunnel

Research purposes:On the basis of the survey data on oil and gas exploration in the study area,by making the investigation and analysis of the geological background in the region of Laoshishan Tunnel along with doing the characteristics observation,gas density test,other field tests and laboratory tests to the point where the gas spills,the study was done on the tunnel's gas source,migration mode,distribution characteristics and reservoir properties and the partition prediction of the gas in tunnel was made to provide the reference to the tunnel design and construction.
Research conclusions:(1) The tunnel exit is located in the anticline structure zone,and it is favorable for the oil and gas migration and accumulation,so the special attention should be paid to it.(2) The tunnel passes through some oil and gas formations,and the under these formations there are also some oil and gas formations and reservoir stratum.Although some of the oil and gas formation are directly exposed to the surface and the reservoir performance is poor,but there is possible that the residual oil and gas concentrate in some places.(3) The natural gas found in the construction comes from the deep Silurian system and Cambrian system formations,moves upward the tunnel along the Longquansi Zhangniu Fault Zone and overflows. The fault zone is the main channel of the natural gas moving upward,so the corresponding measures should be taken.(4) According to the comprehensive analysis of the stratigraphic distribution,structure characteristics and the oil and gas formations,the gas grade of the Laoshishan Tunnel was confirmed.

86 Research on Disease of Baizicun No.1 Tunnel of Nanning - Kunming Railway

Research purposes:During construction,the serious collapse happened to the Baizicun No.1 Tunnel,and the cracks of tunnel lining on the vault were repaired after the completion of construction. However,in the initial operational stage,the new cracks were found in the tunnel exit section,and the cracks developed to the tunnel entrance section rapidly. In the serious disease section,the vault of the tunnel was fractured longitudinally and crushed out block,and the arch springing,side wall and hance of tunnel were fractured longitudinally and dislocated for intrusion.Also the cracks happened to the mountain body. Therefore,there was no condition to keep the railway in good operation,even there was a risk of interruption of the railway for a long time at any time if the disease further developed.It was necessary to do the research on the tunnel disease.
Research conclusions:The disease of the Baizicun No.1 Tunnel was caused by the activity of ancient landslide.The stratigraphic inversion and obvious ancient sliding zone are direct and deterministic evidences of this ancient landslide existence,and characteristic of special topography and slipping slope displacement are indirect and complementary evidences. Through comprehensive survey researching,the material basis (internal cause) and causative factor (external cause) of the activity of this ancient landslide were found.The analysis method of main orientation of similar landslide which has the same direction with the maximum slope of landform and the orientation of the maximum tendency of flabbiness layers of valley,generally with the sliding direction of the ancient landslide,with the major principal stress of underground structure,such as tunnel lining,with the direction of the major plane displacement horizontal vector,was summarized.Because of the obvious pushing,the landside was at the creep stage and comprehensive measures,dominanted with anti - sliding pile,were figured out in this article.It will be of significance to similar landslide and ancient landslide engineering survey,treatment designing and construction.

92 Research on Key Technologies of Fire Extinguishing System for Underwater Tunnel

Research purposes:With the rapid social and economic developments in China,there are more and more underwater tunnel projects,but its matching technical specifications and relative technical standards on the fire extinguishing system have not been formed a complete set of system. There is no clear specification on the fire extinguishing system for the underwater tunnel in the existing railway and highway codes,so these codes are unavailable for design of the fire extinguishing system for underwater tunnel. This paper analyzes the fire characteristics and the fire causes of the underwater tunnel,studies the current situation and problems in the fire extinguishing system for the existing railway and highway tunnels,and combined with the projects of the underwater railway and highway tunnels,gives out the key design parameters on the fire extinguishing system for the underwater highway and railway tunnels to provide the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions:On consideration of the importance of the fire extinguishing system for the underwater railway tunnel,it is recommended to add the indoor tunnel fire hydrant system and the high - pressure water mist fire hydrant in rescue area and the different fire extinguishing systems should be used for the different long highway tunnels of less than 500m,from 500m to 1000m and from 1000m to 3000m.

96 Design Conception of Hub Intercommunication Overpass

Research purposes:With the development of society and economy,the road design and construction change quickly,and meanwhile,the more and more hub intercommunication overpasses are built. In order to know the design conception conveniently,this paper summarizes the main characteristics of hub intercommunication overpasses in the aspects of functional orientation,traffic capacity and line font,concludes the main factors to be considered in design of the hub intercommunication overpass in the aspects of the coordination between the environment and landscape and the saving land,and analyzes the design skills of three - way - cross and four - way - cross hub intercommunication overpasses by giving the example on considering of the control conditions. These experiences can provide the beneficial reference to the type selection of hub intercommunication overpass.
Research conclusions:(1) Each hub intercommunication overpasses should be designed on consideration of its main control conditions because of the different natural environments,different functional orientations and different traffic volumes in future.(2) The overpass type is optional,so the driver behavior should be considered in design.For example,the ramp exit should not be built on the left of main lane except for the three - way - cross " Y" type overpass.(3) To the overpass located on trunk highway with big traffic volume,the number of main lanes within the overpass should be consistent to give full play of them.(4) To the reconstruction projects,the existing structures should be located on the same side of new road,and the number of level should be considered comprehensively in the type selection.

100 Research on Key Joints of Long - span Steel Canopy

Research purposes:The long - span steel canopy has key joints and many bars with complex load bearing.If the conventional joint style is adopted,it needs more insertion plates and outer reinforced rib to influence the architectural beauty. In addition,there is gap in the joint design in the current codes.The cast - steel joint is presented and the finite element method is used for the analysis of the cast - steel joint in this paper.
Research conclusions: (1) If the cast - steel joint is used for the long - span steel canopy,it can avoid the residual stress when welding multiple bars and its shape can meet the requirements of architectural modeling because of the big freedom.(2) The failures in strength and stability and deformation of joints can be known and compared with the design code by using finite element method.(3) The stress can be cut,the joint stiffness can be enhanced and the partly deformation of the joint can be avoided by reasonably setting the wall thickness of the joint and the internal reinforced rib to meet the the design requirements.(4) The conclusions can be used in joint design of long - span steel structures,such as grid,truss and so on.

105 Application Value and Promotion Method for Standardization Design of Rail Transit

Research purposes:The research was done on the current situation and the research background of the standardization design of the rail transit and the contents of the standardization design were summed up to search for the value of using the standardization design system for the rail transit in construction project and study the promotion method for the standardization design. Also the relative measures were presented for ensuring the continuity.
Research conclusions: (1) The design input,control process and design result should be regarded as the core contents of the standardization design and the standardization design should put the special emphasis on the matters according to the features of the different professions.(2) The standardization design should deeply research the various building layouts,the various construction processes and the modularization,interchangeability and standardization of the various equipments and systems of the rail transit.(3) The application of the standardization design in construction can enhance the design efficiency and level,the construction efficiency and the operation and management efficiencies.(4) The standardization design should take the data bank management system as its platform for easy retrieval,sharing,editing and improvement of the data. (5) The research results of the standardization design are available for the rapid development of the rail transit.(6) The promotion method obtained from the research is feasible and can be as the applicable standard.

110 Research on Layout of Public Areas in Underground Standard Island Metro Station

Research purposes:The public areas of the metro station occupy the 40% floor of the main building of the metro station and in these places the passengers go in and out of the station,get their tickets checked and get on and off the train.Weather the layout of the public areas is reasonable or not not only affects the service level,but also brings about the hidden danger to the passengers.Combined with the actual situation,this paper presents the reasonable layout of the public areas in the underground standard island metro station from the analysis of the problems in the different layouts of the internal column span,ticket machine and ticket checking machine in the public areas.
Research conclusions: From the investigation and comparison of different layouts one by one,it is concluded the 8 m column span can be used in a single column station and 9.75 m column span can be used in double column station,and the ticket machines are embedded on both side in the public area and passenger service center is located in the central public area as well as the 3 stairs and 2 escalators are installed in the paid area.This kind of the layout is reasonable and can effectively reduce the capital cost.

116 Discussion on Design of Fire Door of Underground Connection Passage

Research purposes:The fire door of underground connection passage is often ignored in the construction drawing of design file,but it is crucial to the security of the subway operation. According to the design file,this paper discourse the reasons for the door failure of the connection passage in service and also discusses the matters for caution and detailed requirements stipulated in the construction drawings and files on the fire door.
Research conclusions:(1)The reason for the failure of the fire door is that the door is pressed by wind in the tunnel for a long time,so the door is broken more easily in the long tunnel.(2) The fire door's renitency must be resistant to the wind pressure of 3.5 kPa.(3) The fire door's frame and inner structure must be antisepticized by galvanization.(4) The heavy duty door closer and hinge should be used to the fire door.(5) The fire door's frame must be installed in concrete structure and the parts for installation of the door frame should be installed in the concrete structure in advance to reduce the connection by the screw and bolt.(6) The management and maintenance should be strengthened to the door in service.
