1 Research on Staggered - grid High - order Finite - difference Numerical Simulation of Seismic Wave

Research purposes: The technology of seismic wave numerical simulation is an important part in the geophysical prospecting. In this paper,based on the elastic - velocity - stress equation,the numerical simulation of seismic wave propagation in isotropic media is carried out with staggered - grid high - order finite - difference method, and the perfectly matched layer( PML) is used to absorpt boundary to eliminate the boundary reflection. The result of simulation is rather perfect.
Research conclusions: The results of forward computation and the seismic process of a complex model show the staggered - grid high - order numerical simulation is a rapid and efficient simulation method for seismic wave propagation. This method can be used for the selection of acquisition parameters in seismic exploration and for the optimization of the observation system to improve the quality of the acquisition data and solve the geological problems in railway exploration.

7 Study on Design of Disaster Prevention and Rescue Evacuation System for Dayaoshan Tunnel Group of Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line

Research purposes: The Dayaoshan Tunnel group of Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line consists of three tunnels and two bridges,and in which,the longest tunnel is Dayaoshan Tunnel 1,with the length of 10. 081 km and it is a single - tunnel double - track tunnel. However,the total length of the tunnel group is up to 24. 702 km. Compared with a double - tunnel double - track tunnel,the disaster prevention and rescue evacuation condition of this tunnel group during operation is inadequate. In order to install disaster prevention and rescue evacuation facilities for Dayaoshan Tunnel group to ensure the safety of passenger traffic,the special study is done on the disaster prevention and rescue evacuation scheme for the tunnel group.
Research conclusions: Through the analysis and study on design of disaster prevention and rescue evacuation during operations of long tunnels at home and abroad,and in combination with the terrain conditions and external road conditions of the Dayaoshan Tunnel group,a design scheme was offered that the auxiliary tunnel construction was used as an emergency exit for Dayaoshan Tunnel group and an emergency rescue station was installed in the open area beside Huangtuwan Bridge between the exit of Dayaoshan Tunnel 1 and the entrance of Dayaoshan Tunnel 2. With this design scheme,the requirements of disaster prevention and rescue evacuation forthe single - tunnel double - track tunnel group with length more than 20 km during operation could met. Compared with double - tunnel double - track tunnel,by doing so,the construction costs and investment could be cut and saved.

13 Role of Geophysical Prospecting in Route Selection of Watershed Tunnel

Research purposes: The construction of railway watershed tunnel is a tough work with several schemes for selection and it is crucial to the railway alignment,construction investment and construction security. As in the watershed section,the track elevation is high,the tunnel is deep buried and the topographical and geological conditions are complicated,only adoption of the regional mapping and boring in large area is difficult to clearly know the geological conditions. How to scientifically and seasonably bring the geophysical prospecting into play in the route selection of railway watershed tunnel is the question facing to the railway prospector. Taking the geological prospecting for the watershed tunnel of Jining - Tonghua Railway as an example,this paper studies the role of geophysical prospecting in the route selection of railway tunnel.
Research conclusions: By using the geophysical prospecting,the unfavorable geological structure of fault,the lithologic delimitation and the development of underground water can be clearly found out and it can provide the basis for grading the surrounding rock of the tunnel. The scientific arrangement of boring and reduction of boring quantities can much cut the prospecting cost,shorten the prospecting period and enhance the survey quality. So the geophysical prospecting can play great role in the route selection of the watershed tunnel.

18 Application of Comprehensive Geological Survey Methods in Construction of Ganntas Tunnel in Algeria

Research purposes: The railway project from Algiers to Oran in Algeria Constracted by China is an important part of road network ringing the Mediterranean Economic Zone in the north part of Algeria,with the total length of 55 km to connects the capital and main industrial areas. The 7. 342 km long Ganntas Tunnel is an important controlling engineering and passes through the low mountain area of Ganntas with complex topographic and geological conditions. Algeria had invited a number of survey institutions from Italy and France to research the geological survey for decades,but little achievements had been made. After winning the bidding by China in 2008,the comprehensive geological survey method was used for the geological survey of this railway by Chinese experienced senior technicians.
Research conclusions: The stratum,geologic structure and hydrogeological condition of the tunnel was found out,and the main parameters related to the RQD,Q max ,crack development and surrounding rock classification were gained. In accordance with the France surrounding rock classification method,the rock mass quality score of RMR was obtained,achieving very good results. The comprehensive geological survey methods should be widely used in foreign projects.

23 Numerical Analysis of Vibration Reduction of Open Trench for High - speed Railway

Research purposes: With a large number of high - speed railways constructed in China,the environmental vibration induced by high - speed railway becomes prominent increasingly. The open trench has been widely used for the railway construction because of its easy construction and the relatively good isolation effects. In this paper,the numerical analysis is made to analyze the influence of the open trench 's depth and width as well as the load frequency on the isolation effect.
Research conclusions: The infinite element and visco - elastic boundary are used to simulate the semi - infinite space of soil condition,obtaining good effect. The calculation results indicate that the influence on the isolation effect is obvious when the depth of the open trench is in the range from 1m to 4m while the influence of the width of open trench produces a little influence. The isolation effects of the open trench on the near field is better than on the distant field. When the amplitude is fixed,the open trench has better isolation effect under the high - frequency load,and under the low -frequency load,the deeper open trench can have better isolation effect.

30 Discussion on Advanced Geological Forecast Technology for Tunnel in Fractured Basalt Area with Tuff

Research purposes: Taking the Heluoshan Tunnel of the Dali - Ruili Railway as an example,the study was done on the advanced geological forecast technology for the tunnel in fractured basalt area with tuff. Based on the advanced forecasted data,the forecast conclusion was drawn up and the appropriate engineering measures were offered for directing the tunnel construction to reduce and avoid the risk of geological disaster during construction.
Research conclusions: ( 1) During the geological survey,the high - density resistivity method should used for shallow section of the tunnel and the CSAMT sounding should be used for the deep - buried section of the tunnel for the advanced geological forecast to the ground surface. During construction,the geological survey method,TSP method and advanced boring should be used in tunnel for the advanced geological forecast. ( 2) Based on the various data of the advanced geological forecast of all phases obtained by all means,the forecast conclusion is draw up and the proposal on the construction is offered to direct the construction. ( 3) The work procedure of the advanced geological forecast is presented.

36 2D Forward Simulation of Grouting Karst for Pile Foundation with High - density Resistivity Method

Research purposes: The high - density resistivity method ( HDR) is a commonly used method for detecting the quality of grouting karst of pile foundation. In order to guide the production practice,RES2DMOD 3. 0 was used for 2D forward simulation with high - density resistivity for grouting karst of pile foundation to the geology - earth physical model .
Research conclusions: The result of numerical simulation shows the full grouting body and defects of grouting karst can be reflected on the resistivity profile drawing respectively by abnormal high resistance and low resistance. The geophysical anomaly is obvious with large abnormal range and small amplitude when using the Wenner array HDR method,and the geophysical anomaly is weaker with small reflection amplitude and vertical distribution when using the Wenner - Schlumberger array and it is difficult to distinguish.

42 Plane Simplified Rules and Analytical Calculation for Pile - board Structure of Subgrade

Research purposes: The pile - board structure is a new type of foundation reinforcement structure with complex structure style. Now in the wide application of the pile - board structure for subgrade,how to establish the reasonable calculation model and how to get the internal force and deformation with the reasonable calculation method are the most urgent problems to be solved. Based on the principle of the equivalent replacement frame method,in this paper, the plane simplified rules for all kinds of the pile - board structure of subgrade are offered,the plane member bar calculation model is established,the analytical calculation for getting the internal force and deformation of the structure is presented on the basis of stiffness method and foundation coefficient method and taking beam - type pile - board structure as an example,the explanation is given to the main calculation formula and concrete solving ideas.
Research conclusions: Now,substitution of simplified plane member bar mechanic calculation model for the actual structure of the pile - board structure is an available and the most efficient way. The analytical calculation method for getting the structure internal force of the plane member bar mechanic model presented in this paper based on the stiffness method and foundation coefficient method is available for all kinds of pile - board structure,and the obtained result of the internal force of the structure is reasonable and reliable and can be as the control solution.

47 In - situ Test and Analysis of Dynamic Responses of Red Clay Cutting Bedding of Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line

Research purposes: The subgrade bed should have enough strength and stability to bear the train and track loads. With continuous increase of the train speed,the in - situ test and analysis of dynamic responses of red clay cutting bedding is very important to guide the design of the subgrade of high - speed railway.
Research conclusions: By in - situ test,the study was done on the dynamic responses characteristic of red clay cutting bedding of Wuhan - Guangzhou Passenger Dedicated Line at the locomotive speed of 300 ~ 350 km / h. The horizontal and vertical distribution regularity of the vibration velocity,vibration acceleration,dynamic strain and dynamic stress were analyzed under the condition that the train run in the different directions. The analysis showed all the response parameters of the vibration velocity,vibration acceleration,dynamic strain and dynamic stress were decreasing with the depth increasing. In the lateral test section,the change of response of the subgrade bedding was of the reversed V - shaped under effect of the train on right track and the response decreased with increase of the lateral distance under effect of train on the left track. Compared with the ballast track,the dynamic responses and decay rate of ballastless track were smaller,while the influence depth was larger. So it suggests the thickness of subgrade bedding of ballastless track should be 5 m. This study can provide an important reference to construction of other high - speed railway.

53 Application of Soil Creep Characteristics in Deep Foundation Pit Project in Shenzhen

Research purposes: Combined with the deep foundation pit project of one railway station in Shenzhen,by doing indoor triaxial creep test,the time sensitivity of the foundation pit excavation and the negative influence on the surrounding building caused by the soil creep were fitted with numerical simulation method for purpose of researching the influence of soil creep characteristics on the stability of the exterior - protected construction for the foundation pit.
Research conclusions: Through numerical simulation of the typical section,the introduction was given mainly to the creep characteristics of the soil in Shenzhen area for providing the theoretical basis for the safe construction,protection of the surrounding environment and prediction of long - term creep. Before and after creep,the deformation of the supporting structure increased by 16% and the base settlement of the near building increased by about 21% . At the same time,the more usable calculation parameters for SSC model were obtained and it had the big reference value for the similar works.

58 Construction of Taigu Tunnel in Water - bearing Formation

Research purposes: The integrity of the water - bearing formation in the Taigu Tunnel was poor and it was difficult to construct a tunnel in this area with great potential safety hazard. Correctly recognizing this stratum and studying the appropriate parameters for lining support were crucial to safe construction of the tunnel in water - bearing formation.
Research conclusions: ( 1) The origin of the water - bearing formation in the Taigu Tunnel was complex. The water -bearing formation had a certain compaction property,but it was poor in cementation as the lower Pleistocene stratum,with big influence of rich underground on the construction of the tunnel. ( 2) As the geological condition of the tunnel was complicated with much underground water,the construction plan would be adjusted according to the situation of the surrounding rocks and the volume of water bursting so as to ensure the construction safety. ( 3) The more attention should be paid to the construction in the similar formations in future for the construction safety.

62 Discussion on Connection Structure of Bridge and Tunnel between Tunnels of High - speed Railway in Mountain Area

Research purposes: According to the medium and long - term railway network planning of China,the sixteen thousands kilometers of passenger dedicated rail line will be built. So lots of bridges and tunnels will be built for the high - speed railway in the mountain areas of the Midwest of China,with bridge connecting with tunnel and forming group. The high - speed train running on such railway requires high safety and the passenger needs ride comfortableness. So it is necessary to study whether the safeguard structure is installed on the bridge or not and what kind of the safeguard structure should be used when the open track between tunnel portals is short due to the limitations of thetopographic condition and the railway alignment.
Research conclusions: ( 1) When the distance between the adjacent portals of two tunnels is more than 250 m,the two tunnels may be considered as independent ones. When it is less than 250 m,the pressure fluctuation produced by a train passing through the tunnels will be interacted. The variation of maximum pressure in 3 s can be reduced by the safeguard structure. In this way,the visual fatigue of passengers caused by the " black tunnel" and " white tunnel" due to frequently passing in and out tunnels of train can be relieved. ( 2) Using safeguard structure along with the safeguard protection on the side slope,the threat to the operation safety from the falling stone with small grain size can be effectively protected when the slope surface at the tunnel portal is high and precipitous. ( 3) The flexible net steel safeguard structure can be used for the connecting safeguard structure with the features of high safety,reliability and money saving and it can be used in the actual engineering after doing the rock falling impact test.

68 Comparative Study on Fire Fighting Systems for Long Underwater Tunnels of China Railway and Foreign Railways

Research purposes: Under the background of large - scale construction of high - speed railways in China, the railway technology level is upgraded rapidly,and the need of technical standards for design of the fire fighting systems for long railway river - crossing and sea - crossing tunnels is more urgent,so it is necessary to do deep research on the fire fighting system for long underwater tunnel for providing the reference to design of such fire fighting system for railways tunnel.
Research conclusions: From the comparative study on the fire fighting systems for Shiziyang Tunnel of Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong Passenger Dedicated Line and the Tunnel of English Channel,it is concluded that compared with that forthe Tunnel of English Channel,the hardware of the fire fighting system for Shiziyang Tunnel is more completed with high fire fighting efficiency and reliability,the water resource and water pressure needed by fire fighting are guaranteed,the control of the fire fighting facilities is strengthened by using the reliable technology and monitoring equipment and the functions and performances of other auxiliary facilities are improved and strengthened.

73 Analysis of Communication Network Program for Power SCADA System for Passenger Dedicated Line

Research purposes: To ensure the reliability of power supply for passenger dedicated line,each power box -type substation should transmit the site data to SCADA system center for the analysis and processing and at the sametime,it receives the control instructs from the system center. As there are numerous power box - type substations along the passenger dedicated line,the conventional communication network of Power SCADA system is can not meet the actual demand. Therefore,it is necessary to develop a reliable,economic,reasonable and advanced communication network program for Power SCADA system. This paper analyzed the principle of the new communication network program for Power SCADA system for providing the reference to the engineering design in future.
Research conclusions: The power SCADA system for passenger dedicated line is a star network in logic and can provides the converged service. As there are numerous power box - type substations along passenger dedicated line,point to point network program can not be adopted and the transmission bandwidth has to be converged. On considering the network mode of transmission system for passenger dedicated line and the communication requirement of power SCADA system,a tree structure network in physics while a star - type in logic should be established to transmit power SCADA system data with way of collection convergence in layers by using EPL and EVPL. With this program,the reliability of the system can be much enhanced and the cost can be much cut with the feature of convenient maintenance. It is the best choice for a communication network of power SCADA system for passenger dedicated line.

78 Application of Interaction Analysis of Foundation and Structure in Hongqiao Integrated Transport Center Project

Research purposes: As the structure system of the Hongqiao integrated transport center is complex,the reaction forces of the column base is much uneven and the difference of the rigidites of the foundation and structure is small,the traditional method can not reflect the actual load bearing situation. In this paper,the comparation and analyses of the traditional analysis method and calculation method for the interaction and the calculation results obtained with two method and the their reasons are made to instruct the design of the similar project.
Research conclusions: The interaction method that considers the mutual influence of foundation and structure should be used for the structure with the small difference in rigidity on the base and top and largely uneven axial force of the column. The influence of the foundation on the structure is related to the stiffness of the foundation and the structure. The stronger the stiffness of the foundation is,the lower the influence is . For the structure of big column net along with filling column net used in the large integrated transport center,the influence of the deformation of the top part can not be ignored.

86 Discussion on Suspension Mode of Catenary in Subway Car Depot with Cover

Research purposes: Beginning with the analyses of all kinds of suspension mode of catenary and according to the design value( h) of the head room of the track section,the design scheme of the catenary suspension in the subway car depot with cover is offered. This scheme mixes all kinds of the single design standard of conventional catenary together. This scheme not only can meet the requirements of reliability in safety and rationality in technology,but also it has features of the good usability in function,good looking and the more rationality in financial investment because of the optimization of the distribution of resources. This mode can provide the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: When the design value H of the head room of the track section is equal to or less than 6. 5 m,the rigid suspension mode of the catenary should be adopted. When the design value is more than 6. 5 m and equal to or less than 8 m,the suspension mode of using ground column should be used along with the ceiling suspension. When the design value is more than 8 m,the suspension mode of the ground column and twist - arm post should be adopted.

91 Research on Design of Track in East Extension Connection Section of Line 2 of Shanghai Metro

Research purposes: The existing Line 2 and its east extension line of Shanghai metro is connected on the elevated bridge between Longyang Road and Zhangjiang Hi - Tech Region with big technical difficulty. This was the first for China to line and move the full track bed on the elevated bridge. Based on the successful completion of it,the introduction is given in this paper to the design idea and construction plan for lining and moving the full track bed for the purpose of providing the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: According to the project characteristics that the work occupation time was short,the precision requires high and it was the first time to do,the several design plans were made. The rail cap was poured between the existing rail and tie on the Beam 3,the short track caps were prefabricated in the beam manufacturing field for the beds on the 4 - 7 beams and the in - site welding was conducted for the welded rail track,with successful completion of the project. The project can be considered to explore the way of upgrading and maintaining the full track bed and can provide the reference to the similar works.

96 Design of Underground Space of Furong Square Station of Urban Rail Transit in Changsha

Research purposes: Many urban rail transits are built in the big cities in China. With construction and development of metro,the design idea and construction technology have become more and more mature. In this paper, the introduction is given to the commercial development of the underground space of urban rail transit on consideration of the high efficiency and convenience of the metro network and explanation is made on the design features. The regional culture of Hunan featured with long time and splendidness is reflected in the design.
Research conclusions: ( 1) The seamless joint of the people travel can be realized and the station and commerce are integrated by connecting the second floor of the underground space with the floor of the station hall. ( 2) The convenient underground environment and space are realized for the people by introducing the light from the middle yard of the square. ( 3) Also the fire alarm system,the interaction control system,monitoring systems for environment and devices and communication system should be considered in the design.

102 Design of Line 1 of Wuxi Metro Crossing the Shanghai - Nanjing Expressway

Research purposes: The shanghai - Nanjing expressway is an important traffic artery. The factors of the bridge function,landscape and vehicle driving would be considered in the design of Line 1 of Wuxi metro crossing the Shanghai - Nanjing expressway while the feasibility of the bridge crossing the expressway also could be considered. As the key project of Wuxi,a feasible design scheme can get good social and economic benefits.
Research conclusions: This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the steel girder,continuous girder and steel truss girder,compares the advantages and disadvantages of all schemes in the fields of the construction difficulty,influence on the traffic and engineering cost etc,and determines to use the continuous girder bridge by rotation construction,which is the most suitable bridge type for this project. This scheme satisfies the track usage conditions with eatures of the small influence on the traffic,low engineering cost,simple construction and a little maintenance cost,having good social and economic benefits.

107 Research on Ground Collapse Characteristics of Guangzhou and Control

Research purposes: The passenger flow of the Shenzhen rail transit of the first - phase has been in the top of China since it opening to traffic and the passenger flows of some stations have arrived at the design capacity. If the passenger flow is more than the traffic capacity,there is big risk to the operation of the metro. In order to avoid the risk, it is necessary to verify the actual passenger flow with the forecasted passenger flow and evaluate the factors that effect the rising of the passengers flow.
Research conclusions: Based on the statistics of the metro operation and design data ,this paper reviews the result of the forecasted passenger flow and qualitatively analyzed the influence factors when the passenger flow is more than the design capacity. It is concluded that the passengers flow will rise severely after the metro network is established in Shenzhen,and it suggests more cars should be installed for Shenzhen metro to deal with rapid increase of the passenger flow.

112 Analysis of General Layout of Double - layer Henggang Car Depot of Line 3 of Shenzhen Metro

Research purposes: With the construction development of city,the usable land resources in city becomes less and less. If the car depot is laid out with double - layer,it can save a lot of land and increase the utilization of the land. Combined with the general layout of double - layer of the Henggang Car Depot of Line 3 of Shenzhen metro,this paper analyzes and discusses the adjusted design of the general layout after the depot laid out with double - layer.
Research conclusions: The utilization of the land can be enhanced after the depot laid out with double - layer,but there are some impacts on the design of the general layout. In order to improve the capacities of car coming in,going out and car washin as well as meeting the traffic requirement,some facilities should be added and operation management measures should be taken after the depot is laid out with double - layer. This can be as the reference to the similar works in future.

Research purposes: Intercity railways not only can meet the demands of the regional economy development,but also provide the big power to the regional integration. When and whether to construct intercity railway relate to its economic benefits and the social benefits along the line. But now a little research has been done on it,so it can not better guide the management,construction and operation of intercity railway. In this paper,based on the theoretical analysis of much data,the model for the traffic income and expenditure balance of intercity railway is established by using financial analysis to explore the construction condition of passenger flow density for constructing intercity railway and the research is done on the construction condition of the intercity railways in east,middle and west regions of China.
Research conclusions: The construction condition of intercity railway should fully consider the influence of the difference in social and economic fields among the east,middle and west regions of China on the transportation demand,and the different construction conditions should be defined for the different regions. From the analysis with the model,it is concluded in east region,the construction condition of the intercity railway is the density of passenger flow will be up to 16 million person km / km in the near future,in the middle region,the density of the passenger flow will be up to 12 million person km / km and in the west region,the density of the passenger flow will be up to 10 million person km / km.

121 Research on Calculations of UIC Gauge Code and Its Relative Issues

Research purposes: The UIC is responsible for drawing up the universal and basic international codes or the international codes of the basic interface involving in a number of professions for its member countries,including product codes and interchange service codes. The UIC gauge code is one of the universal interchange service codes,so it is very important to correctly understanding the UIC gauge code. The most importantly understanding the UIC gauge code is to understand the basis Kinematic guage reference profile,but now there is no the corresponding concept in the chinese railway codes. The study on the UIC codes presented in this paper has a certain reference significance to the correct understanding UIC codes and has a certain guiding effect on improving the standard system of China high - speed railway and speeding up implementation of the strategy of " Going out" .
Research conclusions: The UIC gauge code is very different from China in concepts. The UIC Kinematic guage reference profile is provided as the fixed value,and is used for defining the manufacturing clearance of rolling stock and the profile clearance of the wayside building along the track. But in China railway codes,thees two ones are the fixed values in accordance with requirement to inverse the " vehicle dynamic envelope" . So the China railway code should be improved and the specific design parameters should tend to more basic theory,basic principles and the calculation process with new ideas to maintain design flexibility and operability.

126 Evaluation of Condition of Operating Through Transportation with Comprehensive Fuzzy Evaluation Method

Research purposes: Realizing the through transportation between the national railway and enterprises is benificial to the continuous increasement of the traffic volume of railway. However,the through transportation is not suitable for every enterprise. So it is necessary to establish a comprehensive evaluation system for evaluating the condition of operating through transportation to determine whether the through transportation can be operated or not for the enterprise.
Research conclusions: Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation can be used for analtzing the condition of operating the through transportation . Based on the relevant influnce factors,the evaluation factors collection is built and according to the actual situation,the comment collection is built. Based on these,the fuzzy relation matrix and the weighting collection are established to make the comprehensive evaluation calculation with weight average operator to make final decision. The actual calculation shows by using the comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method,the basis for making decision whether the through transportation is operated or not can be offered.

Research purposes: As the core product of the communication engineering industry is generally of the extremely large product,the single product or the small—amount product with long service life,the technical innovation of the communication engineering enterprise is easily restricted by many factors,and it is of uniqueness,compared with the other industries and enterprises.Through the analysis of the all kinds of key elements related to the mode,power and system of the technical innovation based on the features of communication engineering industry,this paper tends to offer a simple,operable,effective and suitable technical innovation system for communication industry for assisting the communication engineering enterprise to enhance its core competitive power by the technical innovation.
Research conclusions:The technical innovation of the communication engineering enterprise is a complex system engineering, involving in all operational factors of the enterprise. The proper innovation mode should be chosen,the internal power of the enterprise should be cultivated and accumulated,the outside power of the enterprise should be introduced and made use of, the innovation system should be established and improved,the innovation management level should be enhanced continuously and the technical innovation system should be built for the sustainable development of the enterprise according to the real situation of China, the features of the communication engineering industry and the condition,development target and environment of the enterprise. In this way, the technical innovation can become the powerful engine to lay the strong foundation for the sustainable development of the enterprise.
