1 EXPLORATION ON RAIL FASTENINGS FOR BALLASTLESS TRACK OF PASSENGER DEDICATED RAILWAY LINE

Research purposes: The purpose is to make the researches on the structural types of rail fastenings for ballastless track and their key technologies, and to propose the technical development thoughts and concrete design of rail fastenings for passenger dedicated railway line in China.
Research methods: The summary and analysis of structural types and technical features of rail fastenings for ballastless track at home and abroad are made in combination with experimental result of rail fastenings made in integral trial section for ballastless track on Suining-Chongqing Railway Line, and track situation of passenger dedicated railway line in China and its operation conditions.
Research results: The proposals are offered that for ballastless track it should be given priority to lay open latch impressed rail with iron tie plate and spring having bolt, to equip with iron tie plate and single layer or double layers elastic bedding, and to equip with no bed retaining fastenings for sub-rail foundation.
Research Conclusions: The main influencing factors on design of rail fastenings for ballastless track are rigidity insulation property, rail height and gauge adjustment ability. Therefore, the design can be made with node static rigidity between 25~50 kN/mm, rail height adjustment range not less than 30mm, gauge adjustment range between-10~+10 mm and ballast bed resistance not less than 3Ω·km. At the same time, the advanced technology of Vossloh and Pandrol's rail fastenings should imported under principle of self-creation in order to promote the technical development of Chinese railway.

5 RESEARCH ON INTERFACE OF ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT FOR URBAN MASS TRANSIT BASED ON THE INTERFACE BANK

Research purposes: There are lots of equipments to be used during construction of urban mass transit. The national matching of interface among variable equipments or not is one of important influencing factors on combined equipment test and construction progress. One solution scheme to equipment interface is presented in this paper in order to solve the problems of equipment interface matching with high quality and efficiency.
Research methods: The concepts are defined to the equipment packed by object-oriented method, their equipment interface and matching by adopting information technology and parallel engineering principle, and the matching principle and process of equipment interface are described.
Research results: The equipment interface bank and experts supporting bank are set up and the framework of equipment interface management system is also set up in order to create coordinated working environment for all entities related to construction.
Research Conclusions: With his scheme, the equipments and their interface matching can be effectively planned, the equipment matching process can be controlled well, the experience of matching can be accumulated and the matching efficiency can be increased. At the same time, the gaps in space and time can be shortened greatly among all construction enterprises, and the uniform parallel management and real virtual combined test for equipment interface can be implemented.

11 RESEARCH AND VERIFICATION ON THE COUPLED MODEL BETWEEN VEHICLE AND TRACK FOR LIM TRACK TRANSPORTATION

Research purposes: LIM track transportation lowers the civil engineering building price as well as improves curve passing function & environmental protection conditions and increases stability. So it is greatly demanded for carrying medium capacity in cities.
Research methods: The paper setups coupled dynamic model between vehicle and track combining the structure special features of vehicle and bogie for LIM track transportation. A large amount of simulation calculations about the line design parameters are done. The model's accuracy is verified by comparing the results with ADAMS/Rail. In addition, calculations through traditional method such as particle means and driving dynamics for line design parameters are also done. Transition curve's calculation is presented as an example in the paper.
Research results: The paper presents the recommendation values of line design parameters for Guangzhou track transportation No.4 project by the corresponding simulation calculation.
Research Conclusions: Within the range of certain running speed adopting new-style LIM track transportation can reduce the amount of land pulling down and engineering to reduce the cost of subway.

16 APPLICATION OF CONTINUOUS FIBRE IN REINFORCEMENT OF ENGINEERING STRUCTURE

The complex materials of fiber reinforced polymer are widely applied in civil engineering because of its features of light mass, thigh strength and anti-corrosion. The application of reinforcement methods of ordinary pasting fiber rein-forced polymer, near surface mount and prestressed fiber reinforced polymer are presented in this paper in order to main-train and reinforce bridge better and increase the service life of bridge’s members. The problems related to the duration of reinforced members pasted by fiber reinforce polymer for reinforce engineering structure are pointed out, including aging and duration performances of complex materials and its performance after solidification, influence on performance of girder body by slow contraction of adhesive, fatigue reliability and overall performance of reinforced structure. These problems have to be further studied and solved. The reinforcement technique of prestress will be applied in reinforcement of Railway Bridge.

20 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF WANZHOU YANGTZE RIVER BRIDGE ON YICHANG-WANZHOU RAILWAY LINE

Abstract: Research purposes: Construction of Wanzhou Yangtze River Bridge was a key controlled project for Yichang-Wanzhou Railway to cross Yangtze River. The site of the bridge was in gorge with deep water and fast current and it was not suitable to build bridge pier in the river. The technical problems in design and construction of large span steel trussed arch were solved through making researches on the key technologies for design and construction of the bridge.
Research methods: With consideration of the conditions of geology topography navigation and hydrology, the integral comparisons of technology and economy were made by adopting methods of structure analysis and calculation, bridge structure dynamics and rolling stock dynamics.
Research results: The main steel beam adopted the composite structure of steel trussed arch beam and it was the first time to be adopted in China. The bridge was the largest span bridge in China. The paper explored a set of successful design and construction experience. And a series of technical researches made for construction of the bridge.
Research conclusions: The composite structure bridge with three-span continuous steel trussed arch beam of 168 m+360 m+180 m was adopted for main bridge. The safety of train running and comfortableness were ensured due to adopting the truss with width of 16 m. The gentle vibration was effectively controlled due to nationally drilling hole on suspension rod. The frame of steel trussed arch had to be erected by climbing crane. The high accuracy closure of steel trussed arch was ensured due to using correct assembly order and taking national technical measures.

24 DISCUSSION ON THE WELDING PROOF-TESTING STANDARD FOR STEEL STRUCTURE OF 900 t RAILWAY BRIDGE GIRDER ERECTING MACHINE

Research purposes: The safety reliability and normal age of the bridge girder erecting machine to great extent depend on the welding quality of the steel structure; meanwhile a scientific and proper proof-testing guarantees the welding quality and safety of the steel structure. At present however there is no special specification or code of practice for the manufacturing of the railway bridge girder erecting machine and the proof-testing of the welding quality.
Research methods: The paper provides some suggestions and referable proposals through comparison and analysis of several national commercial specifications and codes of practice.
Research results: This paper sums up a suit of standard to be the same with the welding proof-testing for steel structure of 900 t railway bridge girder erecting machine.
Research conclusions: The standard bridge girder erecting machine can be for reference to the production and proof-testing for the similar railway bridge girder erecting machine.

29 COMPARISON AND SELECTION OF REINFORCEMENT SCHEME FOR 32 M-SPANS GIRDER TO MEET REQUIREMENT OF TRAIN SPEED-RAISE

Research purposes: To avoid the existences of local fatigue damage of bridge structure and resonance vibration of train and bridge, to guarantee the integrated rigidity of bridge structure and its good working performance and to meet the requirement of comfortableness, it is necessary to reinforce the bridge.
Research methods: Several different reinforcement schemes for bridge are proposed according to the influencing factors on natural vibration frequency of structure and in combination with the real situation of bridge. The comparison and selection of schemes are made and rational scheme is decided after the modal analysis is carried out by finite-element method and construction feasibility is considered.
Research results: Bridge will vibrate with the effects of train dynamic load. The present dynamic design and evaluation are made to the bridges on existing railway lines based on the design speed per hour of train in construction time. After train speeds up, the shock excitation frequency of train changes, along with it the response of bridge structure also changes. After testing,it is found that the main problems of existing bridge are as follows: The univalent lateral natural vibration frequency is over low and the bridge lateral amplitude of vibration frequency is over low and the bridge lateral amplitude of vibration is over large.
Research conclusions: It is known from the calculation made by finite-element method that enlarging cross slab and adding support are good ways to increase lateral frequency, aiming at influencing factors on fixed frequency of bridge structure. Generally speaking, the integrated reinforcement result of Scheme 2 is best. However, it is feasible to complete such reinforcement to existing bridge by replacing concrete support with angle steel-concrete support, which can meet the same requirements. Therefore, it is recommended to adopt Scheme 5 for reinforcement.

33 CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE OF JACK-IN BETWEEN JUNCTIONS OF SKEW FRAME FOR EXISTING RAILWAY LINE

Research purposes: Taking the construction of Xinhualu Flyover Frame Bridge at DID 253+185.267 m+14 m+7 m in Jinan-Yantai Railway Electrification Project as an example, it was decided to adopt the construction technique of jack-in between junctions while keeping the line open to traffic, after comparing many schemes for construction of skew sectional frame.
Research methods: The technical points are described in details of jack-in design of rear back, design of skew inverting block, designs of sliding bed treatment and track strengthening, design of temporary pier and control of jack-in direction for the construction conducted by adopting method of jack-in between junctions in this paper.
Research results: It only took 135 days to finish construction of the bridge quickly with features of safety and high quality due to control of the technical points mentioned above during construction. The tolerance was within 5mm between the front end and rear end of sectional frame.

39 SUSPENDED BASKET DESIGN OF WIDER BRIDGE AND TECHNIQUE OF CANTILEVER CONSTRUCTION

Research purposes: Suspended basket construction is a main method in cantilever construction. Bridge construction quality is concerned with suspended basket, which is the supporting structure in construction.
Research methods: By a prestressed concrete low-tower cable-stayed bridge, which is single-chest and three-chamber structure, whose most width is 27. 5 m and whose longest beam is 4 m, this paper introduces a design of suspended basket, and a technique of construction, and puts emphases on the suspended basket structure, installation and moving process. The problems which may be paid attention to in cantilever construction are expatiated.
Research conclusions: This practice of Engineering proved this suspended basket design was reasonable and could satisfy the requirement of engineering. This was instructive to the same style bridges.

43 ANALYSIS OF CAUSES FOR DISASTER OF ONE RAILWAY STEEL BRIDGE AND DEMONSTRATTON OF REINFORCEMENT MEASURES FOR BRIDGE

Research purposes: Cracks and etched surface occur on the web,bottom plate and cross beam of bottom railway steel bridge. These are the common disasters after the bridge services for many years. The overall understanding of causes for the disaster is sought in this paper.
Research methods: The structure stress analysis is made to the bridge by adopting finite-element software. The fatigue estimation is made to the crack position and the feasible demonstration is done to the reinforcement measures through analysis of chemical constitution by doing chemical experiment to the steel.
Research conclusions:(1) The horizontal crack on the web plate of longitudinal beam is caused by damage by hard matter and the bottom vertical crack on the web plate in end section of longitudinal beam is caused by fatigue. (2) The bedded crack on low plain longitudinal node plate is caused by rejected steel quality and slag inclusion in interlayer while smelting. (3) The etched concave surface on cross beam is caused by long-time erosion of sewage on the bridge dropping from train.(4 ) The internal force distribution of longitudinal beam is changed and stress level of longitudinal beam is improved by adopting the method of pasting steel plate on crack position for reinforcing longitudinal beam. In this way, the bridge can meet the requirement of bearing capacity.

47 DEMONSTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SCHEMES FOR LONG TUNNEL IN KARST ZONE

Research purposes: The traditional way is still adopted for treating underground water to long tunnel in karst zone. Therefore, it causes ecological environment surrounding tunnel damaged, occurrence of geological disaster and serious influence on sustainable development. This paper is written for elimination people’s misunderstanding and changing concepts.
Research methods: The demonstration is made in this paper of comparison in aspects of technical feasibility economic index and construction schedule under the same development condition of karst and underground water with taking data as basis.
Research results: The principle of “Take prevention as the dominant factor” should be kept for environmental protection. The concrete measures, construction method and caution for construction are put forward for the area for which a fully closed scheme should be adopted. The principle, primary standard and method of advanced pre-grouting are present for prevention water and drainage to long tunnel in karst zone.
Research Conclusions: The principle of full closure should be kept to long tunnel in karst zone with complex geology when geological disaster threatens the safety of construction and operation,and the worse of geological environment influences sustainable development of the area. If the scheme is correct and measures are suitable, construction will keep going on smoothly without trouble in further.

52 DESIGN MADE FOR COMPLEX GEOLOGICAL SECTION OF JINGZHULING TUNNEL ON SUINING-CHONGQING RAILWAY LINE

Research purposes: The design is made for eliminating the possibility of happening construction accident arisen by karst burst water in Jingzhuling Tunnel, avoiding subsidence arisen by damaged water environment due to large leak and loss of ground water while the tunnel crossing the karst section and solving the problems of influences on the strength, stability and durability of tunnel structure by the tunnel crossing huge karst caves group, underground river and karst burst mud section as well as expansion corrosively of gypsic horizon.
Research methods: Based on the integrated concept of water conservancy environment protection, safety and running relief, the system is equipped with auxiliary pit, the advanced geological prediction is done further to the special section, blocking water by grout curtain is done in combination with dredging underground river of karst cave to the rich water section and the similar calculation is made by adopting numerical values of ANASYS program.
Research results: The design of the tunnel crossing karst cave, Underground River and burst mud section, design of supporting structure to gypsic horizon and design of lining against water pressure are completed.
Research Conclusions: The construction of the tunnel structure and running safety are ensured by the design concept of water conservancy and drainage to the rich water and Underground River of karst cave sections, and design measures for the complex geological section, for reference to the design of similar project in complex geological section.

59 THINKING ON THE INCLINED SHAFT IN CONSTRUCTION OF WU SHAOLING SUPER LONG TUNNEL

Research purposes: Service gallery and short excavation methods are employed in the digging of super long tunnels to reduce the construction time. In this paper, the function of inclined shaft service gallery construction in super long tunnels is presented which took the Wushaoling super long tunnels as an example. The types of the inclined shaft service gallery and the problems of different haulage types of inclined shaft are emphasized, and this could serve as a useful reference for future construction of similar kinds of shafts.
Research methods: The two typical different types of inclined shaft construction methods which are used in 10# and 11# of Wushaoling super long tunnels are compared in two aspects which are practical application in construction and practical effect. The effects, advantages and disadvantages of them are also studied.
Research results: The construction effects of 10# and 11# inclined shaft are compared, and they have correspondent advantages in assist main tunnel construction. The integrated use index of 10# inclined shaft with no rail is better than 11# inclined shaft with rail.
Research Conclusions: when the short excavation method is used in super long tunnel construction, the service gallery is often used to open many working face, inclined shaft is one of these very good methods to assist the construction. The two problems in tunnel construction which is “put the ballast out the tunnel and transfer the support materials into the tunnel” must be solved, and the types of the inclined shaft must be determined with all things considered.

Research purposes: In the construction of tunnels for railway and highway, the hole repair is the intractability problem and there are less mature schemes. This paper investigated the best measures that how repair the dissolution caves during construction the tunnel in railway or highway.
Research methods: In this paper, as the zee can tunnels of 319 country highway for example the author introduced the repair scheme of hole with the pile of high pressure and reunite foundation, construction method, construction technology and analyzed the principle and the procedure and the measures in quantity.
Research Conclusions: Using the method that repair the hole with the pile of high pressure and reunite foundation is the better method.

67 APPLICATION OF OPTICAL FIBER SENSING TECHNOLOGY IN THE UNDERGROUND PROJECT

Research purposes: Optical fiber sensing technology is a new technology of monitor supervises. The newly built Chongwenmen station of Beijing Subway Line 5 goes under the already running line. In order to control the displacement of soil layer, it is needed to test the strain of the pre-braced major diameter pipe umbrella in the construction. The traditional test methods can not satisfy with the requests. Therefore, optical fiber sensing technology is adopted.
Research methods: The optical fiber sensor should be buried before the construction of the pre-braced major diameter pipe umbrella,and some corresponding protective measures should be taken to guarantees that the optical fiber sensor can work well. The pre-braced major diameter pipe umbrella goes against into in the soil layer with optical fiber sensor together, and the strain can be reflected through the optical fiber sensor because it is attached in the pre-braced major diameter pipe umbrella.
Research Conclusions: It is proved that the strain of pipe umbrella can be examined with optical fiber sensor with high precision in the test, and it is more durable and compatible compared to the resistance gages under complex environment. Therefore, the optical fiber sensor technology could be applied in the underground project.

71 EXPLORATION ON DESICN OF THE DISASTER PREVENTION AND SAFETY MONITORING SYSTEM FOR HIGH SPEED RAILWAY AND PASSENGER DEDICATED RAILWAR LINE

Research purposes: This article put forward that disaster prevention and safety monitoring system as a latest, integrated system for natural disaster monitoring and precaution is one of the most important technical measures to ensure the train of special railway for passenger transport moving safely with high speed. By now there hasn’t any example of design and application of this system, so we urgently need an integrated resolved scheme.
Research methods: This article combined with the related railway project provides the design scheme for DPSMS, analyzed and researched the composing, monitoring function and system setting etc. of the disaster prevention and safety-monitoring system in detail.
Research Conclusions: This article gives an integrated resolved scheme for DPSMS, and offers some beneficial references to the system design and construction of special railwang for passenger transport in China.

74 HOW TO SET UP DIGITAL MONITORING SYSTEM BY CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISE

Research purposes: It is an important work for improving management level to set up digital monitoring system in order to fully apply the achievements of computer technology and network technology, improve management level of construction enterprise and shorten the gap with the overseas contractor of international construction.
Research methods: In combination with the monitoring theory and experience for security protection, a visual management platform is set up by taking computer as core and adopting the latest digital video technology and network communication technology.
Research Conclusions: In combination with the management features and difficulties of construction enterprise, a reference scheme of setting up digital monitoring system is presented after giving the introduction to composition and principle of the system. The way of setting up the system by construction enterprise is demonstrated based on the application example in order to make digital monitoring technology widely used in construction enterprise.

79 APPLICATION OF INFORMATIONAL CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY IN DEEPLY FOUNDATION PIT EXCAVATION

Research purposes: Deeply foundation pit is affected by some factors and is the key problem of geotechnical engineering at present. In the course of the construction of foundation pit, the deformation of supporting structures must be surveyed and controlled strictly according to the engineering geological condition, style of the supporting and safety level of the building.
Research methods: Monitoring survey technique was applied in the monitoring of wall and supporting of the YingKouDao station construction in phase 1 project the deformation of the supporting structure and the development of the surrounding was mastered. This paper introduces about the significance, content of urban deep pit deformation survey, the layout of survey spots, data survey, etc. By executing the survey of deep pit deformation, the paper recommends relying on the dynamic information feedback of deformation survey to ensure the construction safety and optimal design of deep pit. Subsequently, corresponding technologic measures of how to control deformation in pit were proposed and fully applied to the construction in phase 1 project. Good effects were achieved in guiding Tianjin Metro construction at the same time some valuable conclusions were obtained.
Research Conclusions: In the processing of deeply foundation pit, we need monitor and control strictly the deformation of supporting structure according to scene actual engineering geologic condition, the types of supporting choice and the safe degree of buildings. Deeply foundation pit of metro is designed and constructed by information way. It is convenient to strengthen the survey and feedback the information, amend and modulate the construction scheme to make the construction in the controlled condition. In the processing of deeply lunation pit, we must strengthen survey; exactly analyze the survey result in time to ensure the safe coefficient of supporting system. And we can evaluate the former design scheme and put reward tile countermeasures to ensure the construction safety in the base of exact analysis.

Research purposes: The soul of the railway engineering is survey and design. The efficient way about innovation of public tendering on railway survey and design is choosing survey and design company fairly, justly and correctly. How to use it in reality is a significant problem.
Research methods: Through combining and comparing the analysis on the existing problem of railway survey and design as well as introduction the basic method, standard of judge, purpose and meaning of the tendering of Luoding-Cenxi railway survey and design, the advantage and meaning of tendering design have expatiated.
Research results: The operation of tendering the design of railway industry is quite reasonable. For spreading and popularizing the tendering the design of railway industry, the expatiation of Luoding-Cenxi railway has the high value for reference and quite meaningful in whole railway industry in nearly future.
Research conclusions: Consciousness of competition about railway engineering design market will be improved by tendering the design. It is useful for increasing the quality of survey and design, reducing the cost of engineering. Moreover, design companies can develop the consciousness of service through definitude regulars in contracts in detail. In addition, projects will be operated orderly effectively and efficiently.

Research purposes: Aiming at the variable cause and the high degree of destroy and damage of the railway project construction risks, this paper explores an effective appraise method combining nature and quality together so as to improve the bid efficiency and the construction benefit.
Research methods: Based on the fully analyze of the risk of the railway project construction the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation in comprehensive appraisal for Railway Project Contract risk was detailed described. Firstly, the risks in the railway project contract including technological risks, environmental risks, personal risks, have been penetrated in to and the appraise index system was build up based on the risks analysis. Then, every risk factor was given a relatively mark by the experienced technical staff to form the estimate matrix following by the principle of analytic hierarchy process. So the significance weights of the appraise indexes were calculated. Thirdly, every risk factor was given a mark by experts consulting the criterion of risk grade, so the subjection function and subjection matrix formed. Multiplayer fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was carried on to give the final result.
Research results: At the end of the text the case of China Railway 16TM Group Co., Ltd bidding for tunnel named Wu Shaoling which belongs to the Lan Wu railway was applied to qualify scientific and feasibility of the method.
Research conclusions: This text will offer some reference to the risk management for railway project contractor.

92 COMMENTS ON KEY POINTS OF CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION FOR SPEED-RAISE PROJECT BY ELECTRIFICATION ON OPERATING RAILWAY LINE

Research purposes: The purpose is to sum up the experience of construction supervision for speed-raise project by electrification on operating railway line for reference to similar work.
Research methods: In combination with the practice of construction supervision for an important speed-raise innovation project of speeding passenger train to 200km/h by electrification on railway hub, the experience and ideas are summed up of how to normalize and strengthen supervision work, how to implement state principle and policy for capital construction and how to make project going on successfully.
Research Conclusions: Strengthening concepts of trust business and management normalization, setting up and continuous improving enterprise’s management system are the basic ways for supervision enterprise to increase its public trust level in society. Improving the quality of supervision work overall needs solving the problem of lacking human resource, to which it needs normalizing contract management in construction market. The construction party should really set up concept of “gain benefits from management” and give sufficient trust, national monetary reward and contract right to the supervision enterprise with public trust level. It is also the necessary condition for implementing supervision contract with high quality.

96 STUDY ON THE EXECUTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION IN STATE-OWNED CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISES

Research purposes: This paper makes suggestions and references for enterprises to strengthen management of human resources and push forward the performance examination effectively and smoothly.
Research methods: In accordance with the particular condition and actual executive environment of state-owned construction enterprises, this paper brings forward betterment countermeasure and suggestion in the aspects of conception transformation, systematization establishment, operation procedure reform and promotion of all staff members’ participation. Meanwhile, this paper discusses the necessity and importance of enterprise's systematization, professionalism and standardization.
Research results: The enterprises should build up effective executive environment while taking the involved factors into consideration such as staff member conception transformation, every personnel's support and participation, scientific operation procedure and system establishment.
Research conclusions: The state-owned enterprises should push forward performance examination and its management unalterably, create good environment for it. It is the enterprises ultimate aim to reform and fulfill a scientific and effective management system by scientific and functional performance examination.
