1 Research on the Railway Network Layout in Cangzhou

Abstract:Research purposes: Cangzhou is an important economic powerhouse of Hebei. With location advantage and the second largest coal port - Huanghua,Cangzliou developed an advanced freight railway system. But in the process of realizing the coordinated development of Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei,the railway network layout structure focused on the freight became a resistance of city orientation. This paper discussed and studied existing weak parts in Cangzhou * s railway network,and proposed rational layout frame by systemic analysis for the city,to make Cangzhou achieve his overall planning as a vital part in Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei urban agglomeration. Research conclusions:(1) The planning goals: in addition to freight railway,high - speed railway between Cangzliou and Beijing and Tianjing will be developed efficiently,setting up a 0. 5 ?1 hour transportation circle to promote the standards and capacity of the railway network to elevate the status of Cangzhou in the regions. (2 ) The planning effect : form a key frame of “two transversal one longitudinal ” including Beijing - Kowloon and Beijing - Shanghai and Shijiazhuang - Cangzhou - Huanghua Port railway passageway,set up inter - city railway between Cangzhou and Beijing or Shijiazhuang,set up inter - city railway between Cangzhou and other important cities in Hebei province, further expand the coverage of freight railway based on Huanghua Port and Bohai development zone. (3) The research can lay a good foundation for the comprehensive transportation planning in Cangzhou and serve as a model for other cities to learn from in the similar planning.

5 Research on the Schemes for Leading High Speed Railways into Baotou Railway Terminal Hot!

Abstract : Research purposes : It will have an important effect on layout of pasenger transport system in railway terminal that High Speed Railways of Beijing - Baotou - Lanzhou and Baotou - Haikou have been introduced into Baotou railway terminal,so terminal layout need to be researched and set up. According to the analysis and research on regional railway network in Baotou,city current situation X development plan and comprehensive transportation system,the scheme of high speed railways leading into Baotou railway terminal was proposed,which is aimed at providing practical cases of research and design for terminal layout. Research conclusions:(1) High speed railway shall be introduced into Baotou station along the existing routes. (2) In order to construct comprehensive transport terminal, high speed railway shall consider the airport planning of comprehensive transport and set a station at the airport. (3) In order to coordinate the capacities of stations and lines, Baotou station shd set a high - speed yard and a normal speed yard,and necessary untwining lines for turn back train shall be designed. (4) The research result can provide reference for leading high speed railways into Baotou railway terminal.

11 Research on the Adaptability of Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan Line Operating EMU Train

Abstract:Research purposes: The average travelling time of common - speed passenger train from Yinchuan to Beijing reaches 12.6 hours now. While operating 200 km/h - EMUtrain on Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan Line,the average travelling time will be shortened to 7. 5 h significantly, the travelling route is from Yinchuan to Dingbian to Taiyuan along Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan Line,then from Taiyuan to Shijiazhuang along Shijiazhuang - Taiyuan DPL,then from Shijiazhuang to Being along Beijing - Shijiazhuang DPL. So it is necessary to study the operation of EMU trains on Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan line. Considering that Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan Line was designed as mixed passenger and freight line and the line from Yinchuan to Dingbian is single - line,this paper is aimed to solve problems on the carrying capacity and organization plan of Taiyuan - Zhongwei - Yinchuan Line operating EMU train. Research conclusions:( 1 ) The EMU train operation on Yinchuan - Dingbian line is feasibility in theory. (2) The speed grade of Yinchuan - Beijing EMU train should be 200 km/h. (3) To mitigate operating risks,the organization plan that the EMU train travels 160 km/h on Yinchuan - Dingbian single - line and 200 km/h on Dingbian - Taiyuan double - line is recommended. (4 ) The research results can provide a reference for otlier similar project.

16 Analysis of Feasibility for Using Ningbo Section in the Xiaoshan - Ningbo Railway for Suburban Train Operation

Abstract:Research purposes: To make Yuyao district be a vice center of Ningbo metropolitan area,a rail transit need be built to connect Yuyao district and Ningbo Central Business District( CBD) . Existing Xiaoshan - Ningbo railway has reserved so much extra capacity since Hangzliou - Ningbo pasenger dedicated railway opens. It is very meaningful to use the extra capacity running suburban trains from Yuyao district to Ningbo CBD, which is more beneficial, more effective,necessary and feasible. The project is a very valuable measure to realize fast and rail transit with large transportation capacity between Yuyao district and Ningbo CBD. Thus,this paper researches on necessity and feasibility of using Ningbo section in the Xiaoslian - Ningbo railway for suburban train operation according to situations of city development along the railway,operation of Xiaoslian - Ningbo railway,travel demand and so on. Research conclusions:( 1 ) It is necessary and feasible to run suburban train on Xiaosiian - Ningbo railway because multi - mode transportation networl^s need to be built between Yuyao district and Ningbo CBD to prompt city ( s development and Yuyao district be a vice center of Ningbo metropolitan area. (2) Existing Xiaosiian - Ningbo railway has so much extra capacity and the investment of this project is small and effectiveness of this project is high. The train operation plan which satisfies travel demand can be realized,which will service passengers so well in the future,so it is feasible for suburban train operation in this section. (3) The project is presently undergoing and it is hopeful to be finished this year. This project will be remarkable at the domain that existing railway is used for suburban trains $ which has reference and guiding significance to similar projects.

21 Research on the Geologic Route Selection in Goafs of Yuxi - Mohan Railway

Abstract:Research purposes: The mineral resources are abundant along Yuxi - Mohan railway, and mined out area has great influence on the line. Based on detailed investigation? of geology and mining situation, in this paper the geological route selection is researched about goafs of copper mine and salt mine which impact and control the line, through the stability analysis on goafs according to correlation theory. Then the reasonable line selection scheme is advised,in order to provide important references for tlie Yuxi - Mohan railway line selection. Research conclusions:The goafs of Yagu copper mine,Mohei and Moxie salt mine are distributed in different mileage location of Yuxi - Mohan railway,with different mining characteristics. The following conclusions are obtained : ( 1) The goaf of Yagu copper mine is old and difficult to find out the situation of mining,and the line is recommended to choose the downstream scheme of Talang river to avoid it. (2) The line of feasibility study is proposed to avoid the Mohei salt mine witli surface subsidence obviously and high level erosion of groundwater. ( 3 ) The line avoided Moxie salt mine should be choosed,although it has small change in length and higher ratio of bridge and tunnel. (4) Mined out areas tend to be less stable,more difficult to control and larger project risk,the line should be avoided as far as possible. (5 ) The research results can provide some references for the geologic route selection in goafs on similar environmental conditionP.

26 Researchon the Geological Route Selection for Emei _ Miyi Section of Chengdu - Kunming Railway Reconstruction Hot!

Abstract : Research purposes : The topography and geology are extremely complicated controlled by the tectonism along the Chengdu - Kunming Railway and the rock mass is especially broken. The collapse, landslide, debris flow,coal seam gas and goaf, active fault are the main engineering geological problems of controlling route scheme. Geological route selection research not only avoids the engineering safety hazards to the most extent crossing the high risl^ geological problems zone,but also provides a reference for future railway planning in this region. Research conclusions :( 1) The article considers the main engineering geological problems are the collapse,landslide, debris flow,coal seam gas and goaf, active fault on basis of geological mapping, drilling, geophysical prospecting, laboratory test and the topical studies. (2) This article has put forward the princij^le of geological route selection under complicated geological conditions. ( 3 ) A relatively better engineering geological conditions scheme has been chosen according to comparison of geological conditions of all the line schemes. (4 ) The research results have reference significance for railway engineering - geological route selection.

31 Railway Route Selection Technitjue for Tableland & Incline of East Africa Plateau

Abstract : Research purposes : This paper presents the impacts on selection of tlie main railway technical standards from such factors as the national economic characteristics, current conditions of the existing railways,technological present status of railways,railway transport assurance systems,on the basis of tlie engineering practices of survey,design and construction of Ethiopia - Djibouti Railway; discusses the process for selection of the main technical standards for the railway section running across the Ethiopian Highland,by taking examples of the technical difficulties during the survey and design in the East Africa dominated by tableland and tableland slope, engineering setting proposal and route selection,and the technical ideas in route selection ; proposes the methods for selection of the main technical standards for the railways extending on the East African Plateau and technologies and principles for route selection of the railways meandering on the land dominated by tableland and tableland slope. This paper is intended to offer guidance in the application of the methods for route selection and selection of the technical standards for the railways constructed on tableland and tableland slope in the varied climatic,environmental and geomorphologic regions. Research conclusions:(1 ) For railway route selection on tableland & incline of East Africa Plateau,geomorphologic continuity and intactness should be prioritized, and such parameters as route length,engineering type, quantities of works,number of curves and number of stations shall be taken into consideration for comparison. (2) The engineering type should be selected to facilitate implementation on site and reduce construction cost, under the premise of a satisfactory service life and safety assurance. (3) In terms of engineering measures, priority should be given to the following principles : avoiding high fill and deep cut,reducing quantities of works,controlling route elevation based on flood level for passing low - lying land of tableland,building immersible subgrade and culverts with water level balance on botli sides in the section suffered from water logging in rainy seasons,to adapt to the highland climate,environment and geomorjDhologic region in Africa.

37 The Effect Analysis of Correlation between Variables on the Partial Corfficient

Abstract : Research purposes : The partial coefficient is one of tlie target values in the transition to the limit state design of China s reliability design standard (code). Currently, the theoretical calculation formula of the partial coefficients recommended by all kinds of reliability design standard ( code) cannot meet the needs of practical problems. Therefore, it is very necessary and important to establish a reasonable calculation method of the partial coefficient for the perfection or the supplementation of standard ( code) in the days to come. Research conclusions:(1) Based on the theory of variable correlation,a new partial coefficient calculation formula is built. (2) A characteristic that tlie partial coefficients corresj^onding to lad and resistance are positive or negative at tlie same time is analyzed. (3 ) The effect of correlation on the partial coefficient was analyzed by numerical examples. This results show that tiie partial coefficients to load term and the resistance term are changed witii a ratio equal to the safety factor which indicates that partial coefficient considering the correlation can meet the reliability design cde of railway engineering in our country based on the requirement of safety coefficient design met!iod for transition. (4) The research can provide the theoretical basis and method support for the design code transition in railway engineering from the safety factor method to the partial coefficient method.

43 A New Coefficient andMethodto Appraise Tunnel RockMass Integrity

Abstract : Research purposes : The classification of tunnel surrounding rocks is an indispensable parameter in the tunnel survey and design stage,which was mainly determined by geological survey, drilling and geophysical methods before. The geophysical metliod mainly use the P - wave velocity to evaluate rock mass integrity,and the P - wave velocity can be usually obtained via shallow seismic reflection method,which renders it hardly applicable to deep buried tunnels since it cannot be directly acquired at tiie depth of tiie tunnel. In this paper,the author established a layered rock mass model to study the relationship between the geometric parameters and the electrical parameters,attempt to find a new method to appraise the rock mass integrity of the surrounding rocks of the tunnel. Research conclusions:( 1 ) Based on the resistivity calculation formula of layered rock mass model, the relationship between the geometric parameters of rock mass and the electrical parameters of rock mass is derived, and a new rock integrity coefficient !r is brought. (2) Kr represents the proportion of intact rock in the unit rock mass,and the larger the Kr value is,the more complete the rock is. (3) The comprehensive logging experiments results show that !r can be used as a quantitative index to evaluate the integrity of rock mass. Through the statistics the quantitative relationship between !r and rock mass integrity is got. (4) K can be used in the railway tunnel survey design stage,and can also be used for other underground engineering survey and design stage.

47 Research on the Formation Mechanism and Treatment Scheme for Longgong Station ’ s High Slope Disaster of Shuo - Huang Railway Hot!

Abstract:Research purposes: There is no systematic research on the damage mechanism of high loess slope which is influenced by the snow melt water,freezing coupling mechanism and long - term repetitive heavy train load. The disease mechanism,present situation and development trend of Longgong station ’ s high and steep slope are analyzed and a reasonable treatment scheme for high slope is discussed in this paper. Research conclusions :( 1) There should be a certain forward - looking for the railway station ’ s design,appropriate to consider the extension of the reserve expansion project or the extension of the line conditions. ( 2 ) Existing slope disease may be caused by many unfavorable factors instead of one unfavorable factor. ( 3 ) A safe and reliable design scheme of service operation should be developed according to the development trend of the existing railways diseases. (4) Under the influence of loess collapsibility,snow melt water, freezing coupling mechanism and long - term repetitive heavy train load,high loess slope easily become disaster point for operation of railway. (5)This research has certain reference for tlie treatment of high steep slope disease of heavy haul railway.

53 Research on the Evaluation Metliod of Structural Difference Irregularity of Vibration Damping Track

Abstract :Research purposes: Due to the use of vibration damping track,the track differences caused the track V dynamic irregularity. As for structure design of vibration reduction track,it is one of tlie key technologies to reduce the dynamic performance of tlie vehicle and track system. But at present,there is a lack of theoretical system research,and no standard and specification for the track structural difference irregularities. Therefore, a multi index comprehensive evaluation metliod based on grey correlation degree is proposed. Research conclusions :( 1 ) The dynamic response parameters of various track irregularities are calculated using the three - dimensional vehicle track coupling dynamic model. (2 ) In order to avoid the subjective influence of the evaluation results,the construction of t!ie reference object is based on the engineering standards and specifications of t!ie geometric irregularity. (3) The evaluation results are presented in the grey relational degree sequence,which is easy to understand and apply. (4) The structural difference irregularities of the three typical vibration damping tracks are equivalently satisfying the requirements of engineering standard of geometric irregularity. Under the excitation,dynamic response propertie of the vehicle and track system of floating slab track is better,and that of vibration damping fastener is relatively poor. (5 ) The multi index comprehensive evaluation met!iod has the following characteristics. The evaluation information comprehensive ability is strong, the combination with engineering is closely,and the operation process is simple and convenient. This method has reference value for the study of the track parameters and the evaluation of the program by using the dynamic simulation method.

59 Research on the Mechanical Behavior of the Tunnel Crossing Tertiary Silty Clay

Abstract : Research purposes : Mechanical properties of Tertiary silty clay change greatly in different moisture conditions. The main purpose of the study is how to effectively combine the numerical simulation monitor witli site monitoring measuring to determine the reasonable supporting time and appreciate measures to ensure the tunnel passing through the terrestrial layer smoothly. Research conclusions:( 1 ) Through the analysis of numerical simulation, during the tunnel construction, stress of surrounding rock will redistribute,strengthen of soil will greatly reduced because of leakage,deformation will increase. Primary support can efectively control the deformation of surrounding rock, therefore reasonable process should be planned to ensure the primary support in time. (2) After testing and analysis, we know that with the increase of moisture content of surrounding rock, rock elastic modulus, cohesion and internal friction angle will become smaller, and the deformation of the support structure will increase. Therefore, in order to guarantee the safety during construction,reasonable support measures according to different moisture content should be used and the working faces should be closed timely. (3) During the construction,dynamic design should be done based on the supervision data to determine the reasonable time of the lining. Generally,it is better to do the secondary lining after 20 days,because the surrounding rock stress and deformation tend to be stable after 20 days. (4) The research results will be a reference for the design and construction of tunnel pasing through the similar formation.

65 Research on the Improve the Maximum Speed Limit in Xiamen Wenxing Tunnel Hot!

Abstract:Research purposes: In recent years, Xiamen citizens often complained Wenxing tunnel low^ speed limit, traffic efficiency is not high. And there are no relevant regulations to improve the speed limit. In this paper,we will study the possibility of raising the speed limit,and try to extract the technical route to improve the speed limit of Wenxing tunnel. Research conclusions :( 1 ) Through the analysis of geometric linear index and the actual operation speed,it is found that the overall speed limit is not feasible,but can increase the speed limit of some section. (2) Suggested that Wenxing tunnel section of the use of sub Lane speed limit mode,small car to speed up to 60 km/h,large vehicles to speed up to 50 km/h. Improve lighting, ventilation speed segment, signs, markings and signs. should be in accordance with the highest speed limit value (60 km/h) corresponding to the design speed of technical standards and requirements. (3 ) Suggestions for improving road speed limit : First proposed to increase the speed limit on the road by the proposed increase in the speed limit to regulate compliance checks. Combined with the minimum length of the speed limit zone and the minimum length of the transition section,check whether the scope and length of the speed limit segment can be satisfied. In the running speed value analysis and correction is proposed based on the proposed increase in the maximum rate. Conditional use measured speed,insufficient conditions$ using simulation speed. Check improve lighting, ventilation speed segment, signs,markings,signs and other conditions are met the relevant requirements of this section of the maximum speed limit,not satisfy the conditions to be perfect. (4)The results can be used to improve the speed limit of highway and urban roads.

71 Research on the Railway Tunnel Surrounding Rock Grade Using TSP Prediction Data Hot!

Abstract : Research purposes : In the process of railway tunnel construction, tunnel surrounding rock grade is often changed when its geological condition is not consistent with corresponding design. In practice, applying seismic compressional velocity on the classification will cause some problems. At present,tunnel surrounding rock grade is still qualitative. Due to tunnel surrounding rock grade related to the economic interests of all participation of the tunnel construction,construction progress and safety, participation are highly concerned about the tunnel surrounding rock grade alteration. Currently,a standard method of predicting the tunnel geological is called seismic reflection method (TSP) . The data collected from the metliod includes various physical and mechanical parameters and spatial variation of the surrounding rocks. Therefore,the TSP method can solve the problems that are in the quantitative tunnel surrounding rock grade by the predicted data. Research conclusions:(1) By using the TSP prediction data,the basic index of tunnel surrounding rock classification based on lithology and dynamic Youngs modulus,the correction index of the tunnel surrounding rock classification based on Poissons ratio and its variation,combined with reflector interface density,the railway tunnel surrounding rock can be graded quantitatively in Table 1 and its instructions in the paper. (2) In theory,this classification is consistent with the railway tunnel surrounding rock classification system. ( 3 ) The quantitative index of the tunnel surrounding rock classification proposed in this paper still need to be constantly revised in practice.

76 Research on the Green Construction Evaluation of High - speed Railway Based on Catastrophe Progression Method Hot!

Abstract:Research purposes : At present, the evaluation criteria and metliods for green construction are absent in China,and the research of green high - speed railway construction is still ongoing. According to the actual situation in our country,this paper discussed the establishment of a set of evaluation criteria for green construction of high - speed railway based on catastrophe progression method,which has a strong guiding role to regulate the green construction of high - speed railway in our country. Research conclusions:( 1) The multi - layer evaluation objects were analyzed in this metiiod,and standard quantization of bottom evaluation indexes was performed. Then,the ultimate catastrophe function was obtained through quantitative computation by the normalization formula of different catastrophe models. Lastly, the comprehensive evaluation of alternative was realized. ( 2 ) The result of an evaluation example indicates that the presented method can not only avoid the subjective quantification of assessment indexes, but also be easy to perform and obtain high reliability, which improved the practicability of the catastrophe progression metiiod. (3) The research results can provide a theoretical reference for green construction evaluation of high - speed railway.

81 Research on the Relationsliip between Urban Road Network and Rail Transit Line Network

Abstract : Research purposes : In recent years,large and medium cities continue to promote the construction of urban rail transit vigorously,line network planning is an important basis for guiding the construction of urban rail transit and long - term development. Urban road is the carrier of the urban rail transit, bus passenger flow along the road is the basis of tlie line in the same direction in the future. In order to understand the relationship between the form of urban road network and rail transit line network,to provide some references for the urban rail transit network planning,the paper summarized the form of two sides,analyzed the relationship of each otlier,and emphasized on the key points of tlie layout of the rail transit line network in the checkerboard type road network and radial + ring road network in theory. Research conclusions:( 1 ) Urban rail transit network and urban road network has some similarity;(2 ) Checkerboard type,radial type,checkerboard + ring,radial + ring network are the often used forms of rail network; (3)The transfer function of the checkerboard type network is strong,so the layout of checkerboard + ring rail network was considered only when the ring flow is developed;( 4 ) The transfer points of t!ie radial + ring network tend to form a polygon,we need to pay attention to the location of the polygon, and notice to optimize the transfer line combination, in order to reduce the number of transfer and improve the ability of access to the road network;( 5 ) The research result can guide the layout of urban rail transit networl^ in practice, and can be applied in specific urban rail transit projects.

Under the condition of limited rail transit resource,it ’ s a key method to use collinear operating mode to realize resource sharingand satisfy thetrip demand of passengers. According to the operation scheme in collinear operation mode,witli the comprehensive consideration of train ’ s carrying capacity, section carrying capacity, number of trains, loading percentage of trains and otiier constraints, this paper started from the point of collinear operation mode ’ s features,concentrated on the operation scheme which can not only meet the trip demand of passengers,bus also can minimize the operating cost of rail transit,so as to maximize the social and economic benefits. Research conclusions :( 1 ) Y - shaped route is the most common form in collinear operation mode, which can be divided into three kinds by network topology. Each mode has its own advantages and disadvantages as well as adaptability,and they ’ re all influenced remarkably by passenger flow,turn - back line and train formation. (2) In the optimization of Y - shaped collinear operation organization scheme,different capacity of stations and routes,especially the turn - back capacity of turn - back station should be taken into consideration integratedly. According to the change characteristics of passenger flow,a corresponding time scheme should be selected and a rational route system should be made$ besides$ single rail lines should be optimized individually. (3) Both the operating cost and the time cost of passengers should be considered in the operating scheme of trains to minimize the total cost. (4) The nesting of trunk line and branches can decrease the total cost effectively. (5) This paper can be applied in the optimization of the operation scheme of urban rail transit.

93 Analysis of Influence of Complex Foundation Pit Construction on the Settlement of Adjacent Metro Station Hot!

Abstract: Research purposes: Subsequent business development often exist around the existing subway station. Foundation pit construction adjacent tlie station has adverse influence for tlie structural deformation. Taking the complex foundation pit construction of Tianjin Tianhe Shopping Center as the background,by using three - dimensional numerical analysis,the calculations are made on the settlement value of two foundation pit excavation schemes for Peace Road Station of Tianjin metro line 3,the safety influence of two construction schemes on subway station structure is evaluated, which provides the basis for the selection of construction schemes. Research conclusions:(1) Under the combined effect of both foundation pit dewatering and excavation,the pit bottom will upheaval slightly,setting tank will appear around the foundation pit,and the subway station is given priority to the settlement deformation. ( 2 ) The original scheme can better control the deformation of the subway station. The final settlement caused by the adjusted scheme is slightly larger than the original scheme. ( 3 ) Both schemes can meet the control requirements of subway deformation. The construction period of adjustment scheme is reduced 3 months than the original scheme. After comprehensive comparison,the adjusted scheme is recommended. (4) According to the practical engineering for analysis,the study results in this paper can be applied in the treatment of tlie influence of foundation pit construction adjacent metro station.
