Abstract:Based o n the resea rch o n raising speed a t the Zheng zho u-Baoji Section of Longhai Rai lway , the rela tions betw een the di fferent compositions o f running speed fo r passeng er and f reig ht t rains and the co rresponding chang e o f deductive co ef ficient fo r passeng er trains are analy zed. The effect s on the t raffic-ca rrying capaci ty under the di fferent o bjectiv e speed are ex plo red. Sev eral o pinio ns a nd sug gestio ns a re propo sed concerned wi th the matching relationship betw een the passeng er and the f reigh t train speed during raising speed and o ther relativ e problems.
