Abstract：Problems concerned w ith the construction orga nization and the mecha ni zatio n o f equipment s fo r the Qinling ex tra-lo ng tunnel are int roduced. The paper expounds mainly the technical o rg ani za tion measure fo r rapid tunnelling , i ts procedures and ex periences, and the ex cellent ef fect obtained in recent y ears.
