Abstract：Based o n the a rticles i ssued in the recent rai lway periodicals concerned wi th the construction of railw ay netw o rk in So uthw est China and the co nst ructio n of Pan Asia n Rai lw ay in Southeast Asia, and combined wi th the schemes of construction railway s tow ards Xi zang , the comprehensiv e descriptions and analyses a re made in this paper. The tentativ e idea and the relativ e sugg estio ns o n establishing the co rrespo nding t runk lines for the internatio nal railway throug h transport a re al so pro posed.
