Abstract：Jointly considering seepage flow hypothesis，drainage mechanism of fluids， characteristics of flow field and radius of well， the confined well theory may be exploited in illustrating the soft rock's flowing toward tunnel. Dp — r andp0 are important in forecasting the large deformation of soft rock，and among them，the Dp is determinative- After three parameters having been determined，further calculation may be carried out with the corresponding formulas.
