Abstract：The elderly author，nearly 90 age old，interested in railway construction of Chi na，provides his article written in 1994. Combined with the traffic and transport practices in home and abroad during recent 45 years since the founding of Peoples Republic of Chi na，several expriences and lessons concerned with the communication constructions in China are explored. And the suggestions are proposed from different aspects， such as the high speed railways，railw ays towards Xizang，major bridges on the Yangtze River， Jao~Zhi Railway， local railways， urban rail transit， etc.
