Abstract:Research purpose: Based on the second development of Fluent which is a powerful CFD analysis software, some important techniques are discussed on the problems in numerical simulation of aerodynamic effect produced by high-speed train passing a tunnel on Fluent system. The problems can be solved by the method of programming with VC++.
Research method: This paper presents a cell-centered finite volume scheme for numerical integration of Navier-Stokes equations for three -dimensional unsteady viscous compressible non -homentropic flow to simulate the variation of transient pressure in tunnel, inside and outside the train introduced by high -speed train passing through a tunnel.
Research result: The transient pressure curve is analysed and explained in detail in accord with the train positions.
Research conclusion: The calculated results are useful in designing new -style portals of high -speed railway tunnels and vehicle sealing performance of high-speed train.
