Application of Underground Percolation Technique in Railway System

Abstract：Research methods: According to the existing conditions of the stations along railway lines , the soil capillary percolation system was designed with the principle of soil capillary percolation, based on the selection of soil matching and the experimental data made by Shenyang Ecology Utilization Institute of China Academy of Science.
Research results: The wastewater treated with technique of soil capillary percolation meets the drainage requirements of Standard GB8978-96.
Research conclusions : This technique has the features of low costs for construction and maintenance and high efficiency for treating sanitary wastewater with meeting requirements of drainage and effective protection of underground water, which is suitable for treating the sanitary wastewater for the stations along railway lines.
