Abstract：Research purposes：The tunnel leakage becomes a difficult problem because it can cause the serious hazards to the tunnel construction and environment. In this paper, the discussion is made on the leakage treatment for the plateau tunnel in cold region.
Research conclusions：Based on the hydro geological conditions of plateau tunnel in cold region, the leakage treatment principle is presented, that is to treat the leakage in combination with environmental protection, to the ground surface water in combination with discharge and dewatering it, to block the water in the tunnel in combination with the draining it and to treat the water thoroughly without future trouble. The tunnel leakage can be treated well by adopting a special chemical grouting along with the unique technology and the aid of bored sampling and non-contact inspection mode.
