Abstract:Research purposes:For avoiding the risks in construction of tunnel with shielded TBM and conducting a safe, reliable and quick check and change of bit tool as well as maintenance of other components or removal of underground obstacles under compressed air, a reliable safeguard system for person to access into working chamber of TBM under compressed air has been development.
Research conclusions:Based on the absorption of the foreign advanced technologies, the researches were done on localization of the safeguard system. The improved system can safeguard the person to access into working chamber of TBM by using automatic pressure maintaining system, double airways and double chamber man-chamber with air pressure transfer chamber. Now with all necessary configuration technologies for the safeguard system mastered by us, the air pressure transfer chamber and its safety controlling system with our own intellectual property right shave been developed.
