Abstract:Research purposes: During cantilever casting in construction of high—pier and large—span continuous rigid frame bridges.the structural stability in the longest cantilever status is very important.nis paper studies the stability of Niujiaoping Double—-line Super Bridge and anabrze8 the nonlinear buckling of the master pier in the longest cantilever status during construction based on consideration of the geometrical nonlinearity and material nonlinearity of the structure.
Research conclusions:The FEM model for the longest cantilever status of the bridge is built with ANSYS finite—element program to study the bridge stability in the longest cantilever status under nine working conditions on considering bi—nonlinearity of the structure.The result show that the longitudinal buckling stiffness of the main pier is less than the transverse buckling stiffness,SO the main piers are relatively easy to buckle in the longitudinal direction.However,the eigenvalues of the stability are large enough to stabilize the main pier and the largest cantilever during construction,and the structure damage due to buckling will not occur in the construction process.nis study has directive sense to the similar construction.
