Abstract:Research purposes: Beginning with the analyses of all kinds of suspension mode of catenary and according to the design value( h) of the head room of the track section,the design scheme of the catenary suspension in the subway car depot with cover is offered. This scheme mixes all kinds of the single design standard of conventional catenary together. This scheme not only can meet the requirements of reliability in safety and rationality in technology,but also it has features of the good usability in function,good looking and the more rationality in financial investment because of the optimization of the distribution of resources. This mode can provide the reference to the similar works.
Research conclusions: When the design value H of the head room of the track section is equal to or less than 6. 5 m,the rigid suspension mode of the catenary should be adopted. When the design value is more than 6. 5 m and equal to or less than 8 m,the suspension mode of using ground column should be used along with the ceiling suspension. When the design value is more than 8 m,the suspension mode of the ground column and twist - arm post should be adopted.
