Abstract:Research purposes: We matured the protecting of the permafrost in construction of the Qinghai - Tibet railway. We adopt some key technices at heat fense measure to roadbed,for example thermal probes,rubble revetment,and crushed rock embankment and so on. The paper researched the ground temperature of such roadbed new structure of Qinghai - Tibet Railway. Through calculating of the ground temperature we obtain corresponding the maximum thawed depth. Through comparative analysis of the maximum thawed depth, the paper researches the measure’s effect at protecting permafrost and the safety of the railway.
Research conclusions: The paper based on the analysis of the data concludes that the heat fense measure can minish maximum thawed depth under shoulder. The applying of the roadbed new structure can protect permafrost,debase ground temperature and make the roadbed stabilization.
