Abstract:Research purposes: In recent years,the rapid development of Urban Rail Transit,but the power factor is a important question to power supply system of Urban Rail Transit,often leading to heavy fines. To improve the power factor,it is necessary to research the method of reactive power compensation; Based on the analysis of domestic power system reactive power compensation and calculation of the integrated power factor to the whole power supply system,several methods of reactive power compensation are researched, and provided a new method of reactive power compensation.
Research conclusions: The method of reactive power compensation should be according to the actual situation of their own power supply system,through the comprehensive power factor calculation or actual analysis,and the method to consider high voltage and low voltage is advised. If conditions allow,it is suggested that the main power substation with SVG + station substation 0. 4 kV side with APF.
