Abstract:Research purposes:In order to analyze the behavior of axially loaded lightweight aggregate concrete filled circular steel tubular (LCFST) columns,ABAQUS was used to establish the finite element model.The load-axial strain behavior of typical LCFST columns was analyzed.
Research conclusions:(1) For confined by steel tube,the axial stress of lightweight aggregate concrete core increased greatly and the ductility was improved.At the same time,the axial stress of steel tube decreased rapidly for confinement effect. (2) Compared with normal concrete filled circular steel tubular (CFST) stub columns,the confinement effect of LCFST stub columns was weakened.
