Abstract:Research purposes: The engineering geological condition of Dali-Ruili Railway is very complex and Lancang River Bridge is one of controlled engineering projects, so it is necessary to determine the site of Lancang River and then to determine the route selection of the railway. The analyses of the engineering geological conditions of all optional plans are made for the purpose of determining optimum bridge site.
Research results: According to the Wangjiazhuang plan and Jiepai plan, the bridge will cross some faults and unfavorable geological zone, resulting in a difficult construction. The Jihong plan is optimum and to which the bridge will cross a little better geological conditions zone of geological structure and lithology.
