Abstract:Research purposes:Due to project investment and using function,a lot of high embankments constructed on
slope foundation during the past construction of the railway engineering. The high embankment hazards occur because of
lack of insufficient construction experience on slope foundation of design or construction,or else lack of enough safety
coefficients for saving project investment. The results of this hazard control and its analysis can be used to provide an
important reference to engineering practice.
Research conclusions:The results of this hazard control and its analysis show that:(1)Loading term and grouting pile
with steel pipe are the preference measures for emergency rescue of high embankments hazards constructed on slope
foundation.(2)For the high embankments constructed on slope foundation,the drainage,filling material and
foundation conditions must be strengthen,the safety factor should be much higher.(3)Constraint reinforcement piles
should be taken for the high embankments constructed on slope foundation. (4)The research results have an important
reference to railway and road engineering constructed on slope foundation.
