Abstract:The Lizigou long bridge is a dominant engineering of the Neijiang-Kunming railway, and the stability of high and steep slope of No. 11 pier in the bridge is a misgiving problem. With the observation and analysis to the morphostructure,the river valley shape and the correlative sediments of Lizigou area, it is considered that the step-spur on the back of No. 11 pier slope is a high terrace of Lizigou river,which is not a unfavorable geological accumulation form and is stable as a whole-During digging slope of the No-11 pier, the influence of engineeing activity is only on surface, and the whole stability of the slope is not shaken. Therefore, the design plan of reinforcing the slope is feasible.
