Abstract:At first,the authors analyze to the experiment date of the bridge pier with highiise pile cap under dynamic loading. Then,according to these date,the authors set up a finite element model to compute the response of bridge pier with highrise pile cap under dynamic loading. By contrasting with the different responses between the pier with high-rise pile cap and the pier with low —:ise pile cap,the authors find many facts which are important to design the bridge pier
