Research on the Reinforcement of a Continuous All-welded Steel Truss Bridge

Abstract:Research purposes:Prefer to consider the increasing rod cross-section with the continuous steel truss girder bridge in the existing strengthening specification,but for the bridge unable to unload,the bigger safety risk of welding the strengthen cross-section with loading situation exists,meanwhile there is more difficulty of strengthening for the gusset plate. For all welded steel truss bridge,the replacement of the member and gusset plate could not be implemented. This paper aims to propose a suitable strengthen method and solve the critical technolgy according to a certain welded steel trusses continuous bridge strengthening scheme study.
Research conclusions:For the problem of insufficient in a continuous steel truss girder bridge bearing capacity which can not be uninstalled, we select a variety of schemes and innovatively choose to increase the main truss reinforcement to solve this problem. To meet the old and new structures taking force together,、introduce the method of jacking-up of the new truss to converse the force system. After two years of actual inspection and analysis,the reinforcement scheme turns out to be safe and reasonable,reinforcement effect is satisfying. The new reinforcement scheme can be used to the similar engineering.
