Abstract:Research purposes: With the more and more subway built in China,some subways have to cross the big river. With the increase of tunnels,more and more fire accidents happened in tunnels that caused more serious harmfulness. Therefore,the ventilation and discharge smoke system inside tunnels becomes one of the most important research topics.
Research conclusions: This paper researches the ventilation and discharge smoke schemes for the large river - crossing tunnel of subway from the areas of the form of the ventilation systemn and the organization of air flow. For the large tunnel in which the several trains run simultaneously in the same direction,when the large tunnel is design,the top air channels and top air vents should be installed for the ventilation and discharge smoke. When the small tunnel is designed,the intermediate air channels and vents should be installed for the ventilation and discharge smoke.
