Abstract The paper expounds the problems concerned with the manufacture and the super?vision of the steel girders of the Jiujiang Changjiang-bridge，In this great bridge,new materi?als?new technology and new structure of bridge style are comprehensively applied. With big difficulties and newly developed techonolgy，the manufacture and building of this bridge indi?cates that the technique of building bridges of our country has stepped on a new stage. The practical procedure and the experiences of this engineering project are systematically and thoroughly Summarized in this paper.
