Abstract As the railway track crossing through the gassy coal —bed in the mountain regions ， the role of applying airtight concrete to grout the tunnel lining in the construction of the tunnels has been described in this paper. The application mechanism of various additional agents mixed into the airtight concrete and its mixture ratio are described also in the paper.
