Abstract Based on the experiences in engineering of foundations on Bao-Zhong Railway Line, the paper introduces several methods and their procedures for the ground treatment with wet-subsiding loess. Some treating measures are analyzed and compared, and the essen- tials which should be observed in general are proposed.
