Abstract Based on the construction practice of the Lijiang Great Bridge for grouting the con- necting gap of the middle span of the continuous girders,there were two restricted locking mea- sures, i. e. the temporary restricted locking of the bridge supports and the temporary restricted locking of the connecting gap. This paper introduces the basic principles, calculating methods and the construction procedure of these measures. They are valuable as reference for construction works.
