Abstract In thi s paper, the main ideas o f remedial w o rks o f la ndslides in Japa n are giv en, the cha racteristics and remedial measures of 29 landslides a re also provided. On thi s basis, sta tistica l analyses of the landslides are car ried out, which is useful and valuable fo r Chinese la ndslide field.
