They a re the selectio n o f the route a nd the posi tio n of the tuunel, applying the adv anced co nst ruction metho ds, doing w ell the w ater pro tectio n design in tunnel by using adv anced techno logic achiev ements, allocating , pro perly the mechanica l a nd elect rical equipments, etc. The impo rtance o f making reaso nable deci sion through advanced techno logies has been also i llust rated in thi s paper.
