Abstract The assembly calculation of the catenary supporting is important and difficult in the catenary profession. In order to assemble the catenary supporting in site once for all,the mechanics and mathe?matics analyses are made on the structure of the different parts of the catenary supporting with the full-compensated chain suspension. It provides a basis for establishing a mathematic model for the as?sembly calculation of the catenary supporting.
