Abstract The Changliangshan Tunnel is a double-lined tunnel whose length is in the second order in China. Its geologic conditions are very complex with high difficulty in construction works- The F5 Fault is one of the biggest faults in this tunnel. The paper introduces the geologic advance forecast works on the F5 Fault by using synthetic methods， providing scientific base for its construction，and better effects are also obtained.
