Abstract In view of the geological conditions in the Tanggu District， the advantages and disadvantages of different construction methods for laying the outside pipelines of the heat supply are compared. The superiorities of laying pipelines directly in the earth are introduced， as well as the construction method and its obtained economic benefits.
