Abstract By utilizing the geophysical exploration technique， the paper introduces two methods to put forward the geological super-leading forecast during tunnel construction，i. e. the seismic responses arranged on the vertical cross-sections in tunnel and the seismic responses arranged laterally on the side w alls of the tunnel. The principles and testing methods of these two methods are described in detail and illustrated with two practical examples in this paper.
