Abstract Through the analysis and research on the traffic-carrying capacity and the volume of traffic in the existing Zheng-Bao Section of the Long-Hai railway line, the necessity, the mode and the main technical standards for constructing the Zheng-Bao High-speed Railway are expounded in this paper.
