Abstract The structure of DF450/24 erecting machine of bridge span has been introduced briefly in this paper. Taking extra-long bridge across Fuxin-Jinzhou highway on the Qinhuangdao-Shenyang special passenger railway line as example, the construction techniques for erecting the prestressed concrete box beams by using the DF450/24 erecting machine are expounded in detail.
