Abstract The research and analysis of model tests have been put forward on the breaking surface of the reinforced earth retaining wall under the initiative limiting state, and the position and shape of these breaking surfaces arc obtained. It is suggested that the breaking surface on the back of the back of the reinforced earth retaining wall should be repaired.
