Abstract The composite technique by adopting the composite structure, continuous jacking, controlled blasting, strengthening the military beams, etc. to implement the removing of existing bridges and culverts, and to reconstruct structural viaducts at their original positions, are introduced in this paper. By applying these techniques, excellent economic and social benefits have been obtained.
