Abstract Based on the brief introduction on developing situation of the tilting trains and the conditions which should be provided for running the tilting trains, the paper proposes that the feasibility analysis should be put forward from economic viewpoint for running the tilting trains. Its investment and production essentials and influence factors arc pointed out. The paper explores the prospects of running the tilting trains in China and several problems which should be taken into attention for import technology of the tilting trains.
