Abstract The new structures，new materials，new techniques and the new technologies were adopted in the Wuhu Yangtze River major bridge. Among these new measures，the chord members connected with the integrated panel point possessed of the most complex technology in the manufacturing of the Wuhu major bridge，and being the biggest members with high manufacturing difficulties. The amount of chord members was up to over 700 members. As to the integrated panel points，their different adopted new techniques and new technologies are introduced in this paper，and the achievements of these new techniques arc evaluated also.
