Abstract The northern district of the Hai-Gong Section was a test section on the Vo. d line of Guangzhou Subway，which was constructed by using the mining method. The allocated situation of construction machinery in this district is introduced in this paper，and compared with several sections on the No. I and No. II lines of Guangzhou Subway，in which the mining method was used. The allocation model of construction machinery to implement low investment and safety rapid excavation for urban subway's section has been proposed. It provides an example valuable as reference for allocation of construction machinery during constructing subway's section by using the mining method hereafter.
