Abstract This paper describes the basic characters of monorail urban track transport adopted first in Chongqing City of China. It discuss and state the key technology of nationalizalization，including the technology specification decision of major fittings，the development and design & manufacture of major conductor of rigid contact line in monorail system. The successful accomplished nationalization of the project is very important to the first monorail urban transport constructing in China，as well as to fill in the gaps in the field of Chinese urban track transport.
