Abstract Accompanied with the rapid development of unban rail transit in home,the problems of vibration and noise pollution produced during operation became more and more conspicuous. The paper describes briefly the necessity of decreasing vibration and reducing noise in metro, as well as the types of anti-vibration track adopted in foreign countries in the world. The design of anti-vibration track with floating plate and its application in Guangzhou Metro are introduced emphatically also in this paper.
