Abstract This paper provides a detailed description of methods on control of air flow passing through cross tunnels and the calculation of air volume rate of jet ventilation in tunnel construction. With ventilation case, this paper also makes analysis and comparison on the energy consumption rate of different methods, by which a most economical method is selected.
