Abstract This paper analyzes the reasons for shrinking diameter and sinking hole of deep bored pile in soft foundation zone based on an example of deep bored pile in soft foundation zone for Dongxihu Interchange Bridge of Wuhan city detour road, sums up some practical, protective and technical measures and experience in resolving problems.
