Abstract The section between Yananbei and Xinfengzhen is an important component of" Baoji-Liuzhou gangway" which is one of "Eight Longitudinal Railway Lines" in the Chinese Railway network of "Eight Longitudinal Railway Lines". This paper comprehensively analyzes the necessity of innovation for promoting traffic capacity in the section between Yan'anbei and Xingfengzheng.
