Abstract This paper gives an introduction to the construction scheme for the 32 m pre-stressed reinforced concrete trough girder erection by increment and into place by towing after it cast-in-place for Meixi Grand Bridge on Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou Railway Line, and describes the construction technique for fabricating trough girder. It is shown that this technique, is available for fabricating railway (highway) bridge at the place where it is uneasy to use bridge girder erection machine and huge heavy lifter based on the practice in this constructiont.
